Can I join the civil aviation sector as a Pilot after completing 14 years of service as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force? If yes, Can I do it directly or should I obtain separate flying license for that?

Yes Soldier, You may join Civil aviation as a pilot. However, you are required to obtain a commercial pilot license separately. But your experience as an IAF pilot for 14yrs will really influence and will makes it easier to obtain the same. And for that, you need to be trained in commercial flights flying too. Being a pilot, you must already have a clear understanding that military crafts and commercial flights are designed in very different ways, which makes commercial flights driving really complicated!!

I suggest that you approaching a couple of flight schools will help you better

    All the best
