    Can I join CA after completing M.B.A(finance)? How to prepare and approach to do CA?

    Hai sir,

    Now I am working in Oman Country as an Accountant. My qualification is MBA (Finance). Now I want to do CA. from my working place. So, Plz advice me hw to prepare & approach to do C. A. Give me suggestions inthis regard.

    YES you can apply for CA as it required only 12th for appearing for exam.
    here is some more information redarding CA

    Following is the eligibility criteria:-

    1. The candidate must have passed the 10+2 level from a recognized board.
    2. The candidate who is a Commerce graduate should have 50% marks.
    Non-commerce graduates without maths should have 55% marks.
    Non-commerce graduates with Maths should have 60% marks.
    The course consists of three stages:-
    (a) Competency Professional Test (CPT)
    (b) Professional Competency Course (PCC)
    (c) Final Course

    The online CPT exam is held ten times in a year
    The offline CPT exam is held twice a year in June and December.

    The CPT course will be for 6 months.You need to register two months earlier.The registration and Tuition fee is Rs.3500/-

    The syllabus is:
    Subjects for CPT are:
    Fundamentals of Accounting
    Mercantile Laws
    General Economics
    Quantitative Aptitude

    Subjects in IPCC:
    Accounting
    Business Laws,Ethics and Communication
    Cost Accounting and Financial Management
    Taxation
    Advanced Accounting
    Auditing and Assurance
    Information Technology and Strategic Management

    Subjects for Final course are:
    Financial Reporting
    Strategic Financial management
    Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics
    Corporate and Allied Laws
    Advanced Management Accounting
    Information Systems Control and Audit
    Direct Tax Laws
    Indirect Tax Laws

    You can join CA after MBA complete .


    CA Eligibility like ::

    CA :

    1.A chartered accountant is a person who is accepted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) after having passed the final examination for the chartered accountancy course conducted by the institute.

    Eligibility for CA Entrance Exams :

    A candidate for a CA exam should have cleared the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or degree.
    Students waiting for the results can also apply.
    There is no restriction in terms of age or percentage secured in (10+2) or degree.
