No you can join Army or Airforce after completing commerce courses
>>Generally through NDA and CDS exams the candidates are recruited for army or airforce
NDA eligibility :
1. For NDA exam you must complete 12th with maths ,physics, chemistry as core subjects.
2. Your age must be minimum 16 1/2 years and maximum 19 years.
3. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
4. Candidate must be an Indian origin.

CDS eligibility :
1. After graduation you apply cds exam having 60%.
2. Age limit is 19 - 25 years.
3. Candidates can appear for 2 times in a year for CDS exam.
4. CDS exam is conducted upsc exam .
5. Candidates must have qualified in b.tech or b.sc(maths, physics and chemistry) for naval academy or air force.

Yes, you can join in army through the inter commers.

I appreciate your interest to join Defense, and if you have opted commerce stream in your Intermediate examination, then no issue you are eligible for NDA Examination and Join Indian Army.

I hope that you are aware about NDA Examination, this is conducted by famous commission i.e UPSC.

This examination is conducted twice in a year and if one can miss they appear for second one.

The examination is conducted for 3 wings i.e Army, navy and air force.

For Navy and Air force, you need science stream and must have study Maths and Physics as a subject in your Intermediate examination.

Well there is no need to scored 60% marks in 10+2, Passing candidates are eligible for NDA.

Make sure than only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination and your age should between 16.5 to 19 years.

The examination is not so easy you need lots of hard work and good preparation, you can get syllabus from the Notification.

When the notification published online registrations will started immediately.

You can not fill application form offline, because UPSC only accept online applications, you have to pay the fees through challan or online net banking of State bank of India.

You must be medically and physically fit if you apply for NDA.

After examination, medial exam will be there and those who passed all stages are eligible for Training in NDA Academy.
