Re: Can I give IBPS Clerical exam after completing 12th with 44.3%?

If you are Belong to General categories Then you are Not eligible to apply for IBPS Clerical examination, Because you have to scored minimum 50% marks in your 12Th to apply for IBPS Clerical examination, But if you are belong to reserved categories, then you are eligible for IBPS Clerical examination, because for reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC not need to scored minimum 50% marks, Only passed in 12Th is Sufficient.

So, If you are Belong to general category, then sorry yo say that you are Not eligible for IBPS Clerical examination, so its better to complete your Graduation and then apply for this examination, and in graduation you not need to scored any minimum percentage, Only passed is Graduation is sufficient to apply for IBPS Clerical examination.

To apply for this examination your age should between 18 to 28 years, upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates, 5 year relaxation is applicable for SC/ST Candidates and 3 Year relaxation is applicable for OBC Categories.

The last date of apply for IBPS Examination for this year was already completed and the examination was going to be held on 27/Nov/2011. So, If you have missed the chance then please apply for this examination next year, the examination fees of IBPS Clerical examination was Rs 350 and you have to pay the fees through challan form in any nationalized banks and then you fill the Online application form, Final year candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination, You have to passed clearly to apply for this examination.

But you have scored only 44% marks in your 12Th examination, so you are not eligible to apply for IBPS Examination, so please complete your Graduation degree course and then apply for IBPS Clerical examination and for More Information please check the official website -

Re: Can I give IBPS Clerical exam after completing 12th with 44.3%?

No friend , you are not eligible with 44% in your 12th for IBPS .

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection .

    Min Qualification required are :
In 10th standard you need to have a percentage of 45% for general categorized students ans 40% for SC,ST,BC .
And in Inter you need to have a min of 50% as aggregate for appearing IBPS Examinations .

So as per this you are not eligible for this .

You have a chance after your Graduation .
i.e If you are really interested in Banking Sector then join in a Graduate Degree Programme in any discipline which is of 3yrs duration course .
You need to maintain an aggregate of 55% in this programme .
Then you are eligible for IBPS Clerical Examinations and also for IBPS PO Examinations too .

    Good Luck !!

Actually the minimum percentage that is required in order to appear for IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel selection) clerical
examination is 60% in the higher secondary examination which should be pursued from a recognized board.
So, it would not be possible for you to appear for the exam as you are not able to satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria.
