No you cant take direct admission to 2nd Semester in B.E/B.Tech, if You are regular student i.e. done 12th STD and aspiring to do B.E then its mandatory for you to appear 1st semester also, Ya but if you're a Diploma Completed student then you can directly take admission to 3rd semester via Government seat by appearing CET or else by Management seat.

Yes,after completing the diploma course you can get directly admission in b.tech 2nd year. for this you have to write LEET exam.
LEET stands for LATERAL ENTRY ENGINEERING TEST. This exam is for the diploma students who want to join in engineering. If you get qualified in the LEET exam you will directly get admission to second year of engineering

For getting into 2nd semester of an course you must have to study the first semester and then you
are eligible for the second semester.nowhere in india you can find an institute well reputed that can allow
such type of misleading works.so work hard and get it where you want.all the best.

yes,you can get direct admission to the second semester if you have done first semester with other engineering college.but this is only in the case of the private institutions.and not all but some private institutions conducts a test for the admission of candidates for lateral entry.
