    Can I get details about Bank Exams eligibility,Course details,Exam details,and tentative dates of these exams?

    I'm interested in banking but I don't know about Banking exam . can i get details of Bank Exam 's eligibility ,
    course details , exam detail and what is the date of exam ? Thanks in advance.

    Hi vidhya.

    Bankings sector is a growing sector your interest shows that you will have a bright future.

    There are two types of cedars in BANKING . i.e

    CLERK

    PO's.

    Eligibility for CLERK is 10+2 with minimum 50%.

    Eligibility for PO's is degree with 50% and some banks will ask 55%.

    You can take coaching for the bank exams there are some reputed institutions like ISB , NSB..
    There are divided into 5 parts :
    1) Reasoning 50
    2) English Language 50
    3) Quantitative Aptitude 50
    4) General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry) 50
    5) Computer Knowledge 50

    And after that we will have descriptive paper i.e

    Essay, Letter Writing

    You can give banking exam after graduation degree. Ibps conducts the exams of bank clerk and po posts for all government banks of India. Visit ibps.in

    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and It was conducts the Common Written examination for the post of Clerical Cadre in Public sector banks.

    >> To apply for this examination candidates must have to fulfill any one of the given eligibility Criteria -

    (A) Candidates must have completed his 10Th examination with minimum 60% marks (OR)

    (B) Candidates must have completed his 12Th examination with minimum 50% marks OR

    Completed his graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised University.

    >>So, If your age is between 18 to 28 years, then you can apply for this examination.
    >>Upper age Relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.


    The Notification of this examination was already Updated in the Official website and The Registration is already started and the last date of apply for this examination was 24/09/2011.

    >> The Written examination was Going to be held on 27/11/2011.

    Banking Sector is one of the main field for many aspirants who wanted to have a bright future.
    There are many openings in near future as top MNC's are now coming into Banking Sector.

    Dude there are more or less Same eligibility criteria are required for the Banks to recruit for different cadre's like PO's / MANAGEMENT TRAINEE or CLERK posts.

    Here i am giving some of common eligibility criteria for the banking sector needs

    Educational Qualification :

    For PO's / MANAGEMENT TRAINEE :

    You must be Graduate from any stream from a recognized university or its affiliated college's or from a deemed university under university grants commission act 1956.

    Age Criteria :

    You must have minimum of 20 years and maximum of 30 years of age for General Category.
    Upper age relaxation is accepted if you belong to any of the following categories

    1. SC / ST - 5 years
    2. Other BC - 3 years
    3. Physically handicapped - 10 years.
    4. Widow - 5 years
    5. Ex-Service men - 5 years.

    Nationality :

    You must be
    - an Indian
    - a subject of Nepal
    - a subject of Bhutan
    - a Tibetan refugee
    - Indian migrated to other country.

    For Clerk Cadre :

    Educational qualification :

    You must had completed MATRICULATION / SSC with minimum of 50% marks or 10+2 with minimum of 50% marks or You must have Degree.

    Age Criteria :

    You must have minimum of 18 years and maximum of 28 years of age for General Category.
    Upper age relaxation is accepted as said above for PO's cadre.

    Besides these the other requirements are common for the other criteria.

    Dear friend.
    There are a number of banks in India like SBI,PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK, ALLAHABAD BANK, ORIENTAL BANK OF COMMERCE,etc,..that conduct their respective bank exams called bank po or clerical exams. These exams are conducted for the posts of probationary officer, clerks. Management trainee and technical executives in these respective banks.
    To be eligiale for these exams you have to be a 21 to 32 year candidate. Also there is some age relaxation of 5 to 10 years for the schedule caste/tribe category. There is no male or female criteria. Academically, you have to be a graduate in any discipline with atleast 55percent marks.
    The exam will consist of 3 stages:
    1. Prelim exam: this exam consist of an objectiue type exam which consist of the topics of general awareness.quantitative aptitude,reasoning and computing.
    2. Main exam: it consist of the composition in english type exam consirting of the topics like letter writing,essay,paragraph writing,etc..
    3. Interview: in this xour personality,communication skills and your academic performance means a lot.

    Let me also tell you that there is a common entrance exam conducted by the indian banks association called IBPS PO Exam along with 19 public sector banks for the posts of po's gnd clerks by a common entrance test twice a year. After qualifying the test you will be given score cards based on which you can attend the interview within one year of issue.

    Hello my dear aspirant,



    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel.It is conducting common written exam for 19 government sector banks two times a year for the both positions.In the coming month IBPS is going to give notification for both Po and Clerical cadre positions.You have chance to apply for both PO position and Clerical cadre positions.Here you will be having chance to apply for all the banks with single time payment and single time written test.


    >>Once go through following eligibility criteria;

    ~~For clerical cadre position,then you must be having at least 55% of marks from your Intermediate from recognized board.Your age should be between 18 to 28 yrs.

    ~~For PO position then you must be having at least 50% of marks in your graduation from recognized university and 5% relaxation is available for SC and ST candidates.Your age should be between 18 yrs to 28 yrs.

    If you satisfy above eligibility criteria then You can apply for IBPS common written exam.If you qualify in this test then you have chance to 19 government sector banks interview.If you qualify in this interview then you can get the job in all the 19 government sector banks.
