Sorry dear but you cant expect Thapar University by scoring just 90-100 in AIEEE 2011.

Thapar University, is one of the best and reputed self financed Engineering Institutes of India. Also because of its excellent faculty, infrastructure, market reputation, placement, high edge laboratories etc. it has been confirmed as a 'Deemed to be University' means the symbol of a high class Institutes. Any institute after getting the tag of 'Deemed to be University' even being just an engineering Institute is capable of issuing there own degree plus having some special powers from AICTE and UGC and financial support also.

So, can you expect getting into such Institute by scoring just 100 in AIEEE, tougher enough it is. For fetching a seat in Thapar you will be required a All India Rank under 17,000 and for getting some good branch even lower then 14,000 will be required. So, if your score is around 100 I can expect your All India Rank would be around 35,000 and above.

Whereas for management quota, yes Thapar has management quota. Thapar being a Private or self financed institute is capable of keeping up to 15% of its seat reserved for admitting students via management quota. But Thapar being a reputed Institute capitation money will be much costlier then expectations. However, I can guess your AIEEE score along with good board marks can lower the cost because 100 marks in AIEEE for getting a seat by management quota is good enough.

You will think you have only 90 marks in AIEEE out of 360.
So you can think where you are so don't expect Thapar university.
Thapar University is very costly.

the minimum marks required is 170 to get Admission in Thapar University . so you are not eligible in this collage for your education.
either you try your best for next year or go for any other collage.

15% of the seats in thapar university is reserved for management quota.

Only 90-100 marks are not enough to get into Thapar University as the minmum marks should be 180+ in AIEEE and the rank should be below 17000 and for good branches you should secure rank below 12000 in AIEEE, but yes you can go through the self financed course of management quota if you have a handsome amount for your B tech as it is very costly, 15% seats are reserved for the management quota.

For admission in ti, you should have atleast rank under 15,000.

No, its not possible with such a low marks.
your rank would be outside 50,000, with this you may not even get any seat in any of the NIT.

• It is a good reputed university.
• If you get 80% of cutoff in the total score in AIEEE then only you will admitted in Thapar university.
• Don't worry try for another private college.The only thing you need to do is atleat study from now itself.

Thapar University is one of the top colleges in Punjab and also in the central counseling of AIEEE.It is among the top private colleges in India.90 marks scored by you are unfortunately not enough to get you admission there as it requires higher marks and ranks.Yes like every private college thapar university also has got management quota of 15% of its seats but that also requires high percentage of marks in both AIEEE and also Intermediate.Better try for your state counseling because these marks won't get you any college in the central counseling of AIEEE.

Thapar University is one of the reputed organization. It is deemed University. To get admission in this University, you require atleast 180 marks in AIEEE. and your rank should be under 15,000.
but as you have only 90 marks, it is imposible to get admission in this University through counseling.
If you want to take admission under management quota, then you should contact concerned authority. but for it, you will have to give extra money and capitation.

sorry to say this... your not able to get a seat in that thapar university....better to try in some other colleges...best of luck...

Candidate should have minimum 60% marks in aggregate of physics, mathematics and chemistry/biology/biotechnology/computer science at 10+2 or equivalent examination are also required to be eligible for admission.
