You can get admission in NIT with out clearing AIEEE. NITs give admission through Three-Exam Scheme. You have to clear either JEE, AIEEE or State Engineering Entrance exam. If you do not clear the AIEEE, you should clear either JEE or State CET. The number of seats through state CET will be very less compared to that of AIEEE. You should get good score in the state CET to get admission in NIT. These exams are highly competitive and so you should prepare very nicely for these tests. You can find the old question papers in the internet. You can also find many books available in the market. You can even join a coaching class as this will help you in your preparation.

Hi,

Yes, you can get admission in NIT without clearing AIEEE but you need to any of the other two entrance examination like JEE or the Engineering entrance exam conducted by the state government.

There is no NIT in India which give you admission without clearing AIEEE. For getting NIT first you have to clear AIEEE , then you will get admission through your all india rank .
NIT doesn't give admission through IIT-JEE or any other entrance exam.

NITs fill their seats through AIEEE Exam only.

You will have to appear for AIEEE Exam anyhow to get admission in NITs.

If you secured good rank, then only you will get admission to NITs.

Every year about 13 lakhs candidates give AIEEE Exam and about 30,000 get seats in prestigious institutes like NITs, IIITs, etc.

This year, AIEEE Exam has been replaced by JEE Mains Exam.

Now, 40% weightage will be also be given to Board Marks for admission to NITs, IIITs, etc.
