The minimum qualification required for applying for the MBA course is a graduation. The graduation can be taken in any subject areas either in the regular or distance education mode. The degree should be from a recognized university. You should score an aggregate of 50% marks in the graduation level. The selection for the MBA course is based on the written examination. You can attend the CAT/MAT or similar kind of examinations as part of the selection criteria. Those who obtain a good score in the written exam have to attend the GD followed by a personal Interview.

Yes, you are eligible for MBA after doing Life sciences degree. Because MBA requires any degree from any background but you need to have at least 55% percent or more to get top colleges. It's always better to have some work experience after completing UG. Because it gives you some practical knowledge after degree.

Through out your studies upto degree you don't get any chance to work or to gain practical experience. But if you work somewhere you will definitely have min.practical knowledge and skills upon your field.

You will get top MBA colleges by qualifying in the exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, ICET etc. Here are the details

MBA - Master Of Business Administration and it's a 2 year pg course.

To get into IIM's you have to come across 3 stages:
    1.Qualifying in CAT(Common Admission Test)
    2.Group Discussion
    3.Personal Interview

    CAT Exam Pattern:

The CAT exam will have only two sections.
    1.First section is Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation;
2.The second section is Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

The examination will be 140 minutes.

    Types of MBA

There are many types in MBA. Few are
    Part time MBA
    Full time MBA
    Executive MBA
    Distance MBA
    Online MBA

Actually the minimum qualification that is required in order to pursue any post graduation course is that you must have
a graduation degree or course certificate from a recognized university. So, in order to pursue MBA(Masters of business
Administration), you should have firstly completed your graduation or an equivalent course from a recognized university.
So, if the degree course which you had completed in life sciences is equivalent to a graduation course, you are eligible to
appear for the admission procedure of any management college of the country. But for getting admission in a good college,
you have to firstly appear for the various management entrance exams that are conducted in the country.

Yes you are definitely eligible, but please make sure that you get a minimum of 50% in your aggregate(or 45% only if you are in the reserved category).
Other than this there is no other restriction for MBA. One more thing is please clear any of the CETs according to the institute you want to apply for.
    For example:
CAT/MAT for Amity, CAT for IIMs, XAT for XLRI, OPENMAT for IGNOU and likewise.
