it is so bcoz there is no method to get lateral
admission in it......
this type of option is only present in engg course
not in all the courses......
so at last not go for this.........

provided that you have done AICTE approved diploma course.Also the admission is restricted only to the courses relevelent to your course of diploma i.e

Mechanical engineering to Mechanical engineering
civil to civil
electrical to electronic, electrical etc.
plasctic to chemical or plasic engineering

for admission purpose you need to contact to the diploma colleges

Many of the diploma colleges are not allowing 2nd year enteries after 12th but few of them allowing but in few courses only

so better so contact to the administrative staff of the college where you want to get admission
