Yes you are eligible for NDA exams which are conduct by UPSC. Twice in a year.
The eligibility criteria are as,
Age and Physical Qualification.
A candidate must be an unmarried male and have attained the age of 16 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st January or 1st of July of the year succeeding the year of examination.
Candidates must not marry until they complete their full training. A candidate who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful will not be selected for training.
A candidate who marries during training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the Government.
Educational Qualification.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply.

Minimum qualification for NDA is:

-Only the unmarried candidates are appeared.

NDA -- National Defence Academy .

India conducts National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (shortly called NDA exam) to recruit candidates to the Army, Navy and the Air force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA).
Candidate must be an unmarried male.
The course of training is for three years.

Candidates are required to give his preference for the service he wishes to join, however the final decision also depends on the rank he secures in the merit list.

The candidate should first decide their preference for the two different academies namely,

yes ,you can join at NDA entrance exam,but you are not eligible for air force.

you are eligible for army exam only.

if you write the air force ,you must 50% marks in physics and maths.

Well yes you can appear for the NDA exam after completing your intermediate.NDA examination is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.The examination is done for recruitment in the officer post in the ARMY,NAVY and AIR FORCE.The selection of the candidates for the Army is done in three modes ::

1.Written exam
2.SSB
2.Medical

The candidates have to clear all phases to get recommended for the Defense fields .In the end based on your preferences or priority and merit list you will be sent for training in the different fields like ARMY,NAVY and AIR FORCE.But since you have done your class 12th in the commerce streams which means that you are only eligible for the army .

Eligibility for the NDA::

You must have passed your class 12th in any streams for the ARMY.
For NAVY and AIR FORCE you should have completed your class 12th with physics and maths as a compulsory subjects .
You should be between 161/2 to 19 years of age .
There is no relaxation for SC/ST and OBC students in upper age limit .

Pattern of the examination ::The written exam consist of two papers

Paper I:General Ability Test Papers for 600 marks
Paper II:Maths For 300 marks

The students must have cleared the cutoff of both the subjects to pass the NDA examination .

Well if you will do graduation then i do not think that you will be under 19 years so its better if you take exam after passing class 12th only .

First of all yes you can apply for NDA and for NDA you only need 12th pass certificate,graduation won't help you in NDA.After graduation you can apply for CDS.What type of help you need from graduation.First see the criteria then decide what to do.

Eligibility for NDA exam is follows:
1.You must be a citizen of India.
2.Candidate's age must be between 16-1/2 to 19 yrs.
3.Candidate should have 12th pass certificate from any state board or central board.
4.Candidate who are appearing for 12th exam also can apply.
5.candidate should have science side(maths+physics) in 11-12th class for air force and navy.
6.Arts and commerce student can also apply for NDA but only for armt not for airforce and navy
first you have to appear for the written exam conducted by UPSC.Exam contains two papers(1)is of maths and (2)is of general knowledge and english and some questions of physics and chemistry.

After selecting in written exam you will be called for SSB.It is aprocess of 5 days.During which your physical, mental state has tested.
After SSB you will be called for medical check -up.

NDA forms are filled two times a year,one in Oct-Nov and another in Mar-April hence you have to be updated through newspapers.

No you can not apply for a NDA Examination. your graduation wont help in whatsoever case.

You can't do NDA after graduation. NDA is only for inter students. If you want to enter in defense then you must have to go through the CDSE...

CDSE stands for Combined Defense Service Exam


CDSE has the following wings
Indian Navy Service(INS)
Indian Military Academy(IMA)
Indian Air Force(IAF)
Officer Training Academy(OTA)

Indian Military Academy(IMA) Exam :

>> Your age should be in between 19 to 24 years
>> You should have a degree from a recognized university
