You are absolutely eligible for CA course,even if you have not taken maths as a subject in your 12th.

Even,you are not required to take commerce stream in your 12th to do CA.

You can do it by taking any stream.

But,it is better to take commerce stream as it helps you during your CA course.

Now I am giving you some details about CA course.

CA course is managed by ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India).

The course is divided in three parts:-

1.CPT.

2.IPCC.

3.Final.

The entrance test for CA course is CPT .

It is of 200 marks and includes following subjects:-

1.Accounts.

2.Merchantile Law.

3.Economics.

4.Maths.

So,its better to take maths with commerce stream because it is in the syllabus of CPT.

You can give CPT after your 12th exam.

For that,you will have to register yourself with ICAI and apply for CPT exam.

yes you can do CA without having Maths but i must tell you that as maths not been required in CA as a particular subject
but it is included in COMMON PROFICIENCY TEST as a part of it . It just to evaluate your aptitude skill at the time
of test .

So don't worry about it . You can proceed without maths in commerce in furtherance of doing CA .

It requires only 12th std from recognized board.

CA have the 4 levels :
CPT
IPCC
Training
Final CA


CPT is an entrance exam for CA.
After that you can go for IPCC it requires minimum 9 month gap After CPT.

After that you can go for Training then you can go for Fianl CA.

You are eligible to join for the CA course now. Any candidate with a 10th qualification can apply for this course. But you can appear for the exam only after you complete 12th standard. Even if you have not taken maths as a subject in 12th standard, there will be a paper in this area in the first level of the course i.e. CPT level. The level of questions will be at the 12th standard level. So if there is a possibility to switch over you must do it. You can prepare for the CPT level along with 12th standard. If you are not comfortable in maths you can probably join any training center to help you prepare in the same.

You need to have a basic knowledge of maths, good analytical skills, problem solving and decision making skills. Well your selection will depend on your scores in Common Proficiency Test (CPT).

You can do CA without completing Maths in 11th commerce

you should complete 12th or graduation from recognized university to do CA

if you complete 12th you have to appear CPT exam

or if you complete graduation no need to appear CPT exam

you can directly attempt the IPCC exam
