    Hi Friend,

Yes, you are eligible to pursue a degree as CA after completing +2(Commerce).

    Eligibility for CA Entrance Exams:

    1. The aspiring candidate for a CA exam should have cleared the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2). Students waiting for (10+2) results can also apply.

    2. Students can join a CA program after (10+2) or graduation. There is no restriction in terms of age or percentage secured in (10+2).

    Hope the information helps you.
    thanks...

Re: Can I do CA directly after 12th (Commerce)?

    Hi,
Yes dear, you can definitely opt for CA or chartered accountancy. This course is open for candidates right from the 12th standard only. You already have 12th commerce, so you will not have a problem in adjusting with the course. You will have the advanced version of this commerce subject in 12th standard CA. CA will have subjects related to auditing, finance etc.Already you are somewhat familiar with such subjects in your course curriculum. Now in CA course, you will have better understanding and knowledge on such subjects. For getting enrolled in CA or Chartered Accountancy course you will have to go through an entrance examination called the CPT or Common Proficiency Test. This test consists of four parts-Mercantile Laws, Accountancy, Quantitative Aptitude and General Economics. This test will be taken on an OMR sheet and thus the question pattern will be in multiple choice type form. So you will have to answer them in pencil. Once you get more than 50% marks in CPT, then only can you be enrolled for the CA course. There is no limitation for you as to how many times you can give CPT. CPT can be opted for as many times you want. So good luck.
