Re: Can I do CA Course without appearing Common Proficiency test?

firstly the CA course consists of three stages they are as follows
    1.CPT
    2.IPCC
    3.CA FINAL
So these are the three stages of the course, previously the Government has said that every student to enter into the CA course must take the CPT(Common Proficiency Test) and get qualified in that to get into the next stages. But now the new rule is that the candidate who have 55% in the degree and if he is from a commerce group can take the IPCC directly without the CA course, and also the person who had completed the degree and if he is from a non-commerce group then he should have 60% to take the IPCC without the CPT exam.

Hi friend, Yes you can do I.P.C.C directly without appearing for C.P.T, But you need to complete your graduation course with an aggregate percentage of 55%.. after this you can directly appear for I.P.C.C entrance exam.

    all the best...

Re: Can I do CA Course without appearing Common Proficiency test?

Yes friend , you have a chance for doing CA by directly joining in IPCC without any entrance examination like CA-CPT .

But for this you must be a Graduate in any stream .

If you are a Graduate from Bachelor of Commerce then you must have a min of 50% as your aggregate .

    or else

If you are a Graduate from Non - Commerce stream then you must have a min of 55% as your aggregate in your Graduation .

So if you satisfy this criteria, then you are positively eligible for getting into CA without any entrance examinations .

So far this is announcement was done , it doesn't completed its implementation phase .

So it is better to appear for CA-CPT Examination .

CA CPT -- Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test .

Important Dates of CA CPT Exam :

The Paper Pencil Mode session is mainly conducted in the month of June and December OF 2012.
The CA CPT June examination date is on usually 3rd week of June, 2012.
The Online Registration Mode will conducted be conducted four times in a Year. Examination will be in the months of August, September, October and December, 2012.

CA CPT Exam is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for admitting students to Chartered Accountancy course.

    Good Lcuk !!!!

Re: Can I do CA Course without appearing Common Proficiency test?

Yes according to the new notification issued by the Institute of Chartered accountants of India, a individual who has completed his or her
graduation can directly appear for the intermediate level(Integrated professional competence course) without appearing for the
    initial level(Common Proficiency test).

Basically there are three stages in the whole procedure(for those candidates who want to directly pursue
chartered accountancy after completing their higher secondary). These can be mentioned as follows:
    1)CPT(Common proficiency test)-
This is the initial stage. This is an objective examination which is of 200 marks and you require at least 100 marks
to qualify the examination.Their are basically four sections in the examination.

    2)IPCC(Integrated professional competence course)-
This is the intermediate level. If you are able to qualify the initial level, then you can register for this level.
Their are basically two groups which you would be required to qualify.

    3)CA final-
This is the third and the most crucial stage in the whole process. But before that you would be required
to complete three years of article ship under a chartered accountant who is practicing in India.
    3)
