Re: Can I do CA after 12th (Science)?

After 12th (science), one can definitely apply for CA course. Being a 12th class candidate you need to register and apply for the CPT foundation exam. In this level, you will be tested in basic concepts in accounting, mercantile laws, language skills etc. Try to qualify in CPT exam so as to join for IPCC. Another option is that, graduates can even directly join IPCC without CPT. In such cases, they should score 60% marks in graduation level. This level also includes certain practical programs too. Article ship training is included in this level. Apart from this, you need to attend ITT training for 100 hours so as to attend final CA course.

Re: Can I do CA after 12th (Science)?

    yes, absolutely.....
you can apply for an eligibility test called CA-CPT, after completing your intermediate
it is better for you if you have completed with your intermediate with maths and commerce (MEC) as your subjects. if these were not your choice in intermediate you need to make a little more effort to crack the CA-CPT
many coaching centres like Sri Chaitanya and Narayana are established in many places which offer the coaching to crack these CA-CPT exams, you make find one in your vicinity and join it for a crash course to help you with your efforts. get a good knowledge of maths as it wil; help you for your exam as well as your future career as an accountant.
    good luck

Re: Can I do CA after 12th (Science)?

    Hello,

Why not, you can do CA course.

CA has three levels of Exams:

    1. Common Proficieny Test (CPT )
    2. Integrated Professional Competence Test (IPCC )
    3. Final and Articleship training.

Chartered Accounted is new Professional course ,which can opt for any stream student after 12th.

You can also apply CA directly grduation also .

The Pattern of CA course is as follows:

    * You first register for CPT , if you qualify this then proceed for IPCC:

    * Those who pass out CPT appears in IPCC. Graduate in commerce with 55% can directly apply for IPCC and
Non Commerce graduate requires 60% must for direct admission ,they have no need to give the CPT.

    * After IPCC ,Final exam held and Artificalship training of 3 years .

This the final stage to become a CA.

    Best of Luck.
