I'm afraid but you cannot go for BCA after your 12th standard. Let us know the requirements that are required for pursuing BCA

--> You must have passed 12th standard with Maths as the major subject.
--> Minimum of 50% aggregate of marks in 12th standard.

As you have completed your 12th standard with commerce background hence you're not eligible to go for BCA, But you have an option of pursing various other courses related to your stream which are

1. B.A
2. B.Com
3. B.B.A
4. B.Com (H)
5. B.B.M

Apart from these courses you can also choose professional courses in commerce such as

1. Hotel Management
2. CA
3. ICAI
4. ICWAI

If you had an interest in BCA you must have opted out for Maths instead of Commerce, but as we cannot change what has happened, Depending upon your choice you can go for various courses in graduation, but you must make sure that you go in a career path that you have chosen in 12th standard.

Well, you are eligible, but here is a complicated thing. BCA , that is, Bachelor's in Computer Application is a technological area and here you need mathematics knowledge to a certain amount. So mostly institutes take people having mathematics in their subject combination. Some institute not only require mathematics subject in this combination, also they set a standard cut-off. So not only do the institutes now want an overall 50-60%(depending on the institute) in the higher secondary marks, but also they want a 45-55%(depending on the institute). Also some institutes shortlist the eligible candidates after taking an admission test. What you can do is, you can still go for a BCA in a simpler way by opting the distance mode education. You have IGNOU who offer BCA. There so many complications are not there. Log into www.ignou.ac.in.
