The eligibility is as follows:
-Commerce graduates: 55% marks.
-Non commerce graduates: 60% marks.

As you have scored only 50% marks,you are not eligible.

sorry friend you cannot appear in the IPCC exams directly . you must have to appear for the CPT exams .after successfully clearing the CPT exams you will be eligible for applying IPCC .

some information is there that a commerce graduate can appear directly if he has 55% mark and 50 for non commerce.
but the above is not implemented till now.so a candidate have to appear for the CPT exam first.

IPCC is an Integrated Professional competency test which is one of the stages for CA i.e., Chartered Accountant.
The CA has three stages
CPT(Common Profeciency Test)
IPCC
Final Stage

For IPCC you need to have Graduation or its equivalent generally you need to pass the CPT exam which is conducted by ICAI(Institute for Chartered Accountants in India)
If you complete your degree you can directly register for IPCC without appearing for CPT

The Central Council has approved the new announcement of allowing a Graduate student (B.com, B.Sc., BBA,etc) to directly join the IPCC course without writing CA-CPT Exam.
The council also announced that the eligibility criteria for the graduates to write IPCC directly is as under:
In case of a Commerce Graduate – 55% as Aggregate &
In case of a Non-Commerce Graduate – 60% as Aggregate .

Sorry,Its very hard for me to say this.I think you are not eligible to write IPCC exam because you have only 50% in your graduation but if only 55% and above are eligible to write the exam.

This announcement was made by G Ramaswamy, The President of the ICAI in his interview to the “The Hindu”

G Ramaswamy also said that Though it is approved by the central council of the ICAI, but the same is pending for the approval of the Union Govt.

“So the new norm is not yet Applicable”

But, Since the announcement is yet to be approved by the union govt., and as per the available information, There are couple of things coming out as far as eligibility criteria is concerned for directly joining IPCC course.

Firstly it is Said that you have to Complete Second year of Graduation with 55% and 60% for commerce and non commerce graduates respectively.

Secondly it is said that you have to be a graduate with the above said percentages to be able to Join IPCC course directly.

I Feel we have to stop guessing and wait for the official word from the ICAI.

ICAI has confirmed on this and Read this for Eligibility Criteria : Graduates/ Post Graduates are Exempted from Writing CPT and are eligible to directly join IPCC and Articleship

since you have completed your graduation you can apply for IPCC without giving the CPT exam .but there are a certain conditions that you need to full fill .
1st of all you need to have a minimum 55% in your graduation .
and 2nd all the best as it is a tough career to crack.

Sorry My friend To join the IPCC either you need to crack or clear your CPT test or you should be graduate with minimum 55% if you are from commerce stream and if you from non- commerce stream you need 60% in your graduation.

Well according to Central Council now students can appear directly for the IPCC exam but there are some eligibility criteria for the examination .

Eligibility criteria for the graduates to write IPCC directly is as under:

Since you have got 50% which means that you are not eligible to appear for this course .

You must have to secure minimum 55% with commerce graduate or 60% from other stream.
So you are not fullfilling this conditons of the IPCC exam. So look for the other exam.

In case of commerce students-55%
In case of non commerce students-60%

As you have less marks you can not appear directly apply for IPCC after completing graduation.
So first complete CPT then go for IPCC

On common bases you are eligible for this exam.

IPCC : Eligibility

You should pass CPT and HSC may join the IPCC Course or ATC Course. Simultaneously, if you have practical training depending upon whether he is opting for ATC or IPCC.

In addition, You need to register and undergo orientation progrmme & 100 hours ITT before appearing in IPCC/ATC.

No, for the time being you cannot directly appear for IPCC(Integrated professional competence course)
after completing your graduation.But the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is planning to introduce
such a provision.According to such provision,a student who has completed his or her graduation can directly
appear for the intermediate level and would not be required to appear for CPT(Common proficiency test).
But no such notification has yet come out in this direction.
