I just don't understand why you want to change your group all of a sudden that too after you have attended 11th class exams. Well you have the opportunity to change your group but it's a regret that you will have to loose one complete academic year. For further clarification please follow the points below.


--> As you have mentioned that you have already given your 11th standard examination it's highly impossible for you to change your group as one more year of study will help you in completion of your 12th standard with Science group as your stream of education.
--> You cannot change your group to Commerce after you completing 1 year in Science group no one will allow you to change your group.
--> But if you seriously want to change your group for the sake of your interest or future or what ever other reason then you need to cancel your 1st year in science and start again which is 11th standard by choosing commerce as your group.

You need to be really concerned about your future because let me tell you that one change now will play a crucial role in your future. First and foremost thing is that you need to make sure that why are you interested in changing your course.

1. Not Interested : If you were not interested in Science group then why did you choose it after you completed your 10th.
2. Future Aspects : On a whole Students from Science group has more and more future aspects when compared with students of Commerce group.

I wouldn't say that you need not to change your group but i would suggest you that by doing this you'll be wasting one year of your life and during your interviews they may question you regarding your academic gap which you might not give a proper reason to justify the interviewer.

So, finally i would say that before you could come to a conclusion or take a final decision make sure that consider all the pro's and con's of changing your group.

Yes you can change streams when you are presently studying in your 11th class but after completing 11th and entering into 12th your school will not allow it am sorry...You may have to drop one year and do your 11th again in commerce stream if you are dead serious of studying commerce ...good luck !!

It can only be changed if you have not filled up your 12th Board form.
But if not so, then work hard in 12th and then if want to change, you can do so and then no need to look back.
Fight for CA, CS, CFA and many other commerce courses.
But if you change after 11th and then think that you have made the wrong decision then you cant go in science stream again...

Science students can go for commerce but not vice-versa.

So think twice-thrice before taking decision.

No you cant. because your 11th and 12th both make up a SINGLE part together. So both of them count and u cant change in between. but languages may be changed
