    To become an IPS officer you will have to qualify the examination conducted for IPS post .

    UPSC every years conducts the examination know as IPS Examination.

    The candidates have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria :
    The candidates must have completd the graduation degree of a recognized university.

    Or Final year candidates of Gradaution can also apply.

    Age : The candidates age must be in between 21 years to 30 years.

    Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates.

    Number of attempts :
    gen 4 ,obc 7 and sc/st no limit.

    The examination is conducted in two stages : CSAT and Mains exam.

    The Mains examination qualified are called for Perssonal Interview for the selection to IPS post.

    The candidates must be physically fit.

    Required height : 156 cms
    and chest : 84 cms and expendable upto 5 cms.

    Eye sight : 6 /6 .

    The candidates must have to fulfill the above mentioned criteria.

    The examination Notification are available on UPSC website or Employment news paper.

    IPS is stand for the Indian police service and this examination is come under the civil services examination. This job is related to the defence sector. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts civil services examination once in every year.

    To appear in the Civil Services examination you need following criteria :
    --> Graduation in any stream from a recognize board. Final year may also apply for Civil Services examination.
    --> The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of examination.

    NOTE :--- The age relaxation is also applicable for the reservation category candidates.

    If you want to become a IAS officer first you can crack the Civil Examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission

    First you can appear for Civil Examination

    Civil Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly ones,

    For this Civil Examination some eligibility are there

    if you satisfy these all eligibility then you are eligible for civil examination

    Educational Qualification

    >> Candidates have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university,

    >> There is no percentage required for this examination

    I am sorry you can not eligible. You need to complete the Graduation to become IPS officer.

    IPS stands for India Police Service. This exam conducted by UPSC once in a year.


    The applicant should complete the Graduation from recognized university.

    Percentage not required for this exam.

    Final year appearing candidates are eligible for this exam.

    The candidate min age limit is 21 years and max age limit is 30 years.

    3 years upper age relaxation for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST Candidates. And 10 years for PWD.

    The applicant should be origin of India.

    No of Attempts:

    4 for General

    7 for OBC

    No limit for SC/ST.

    You are not eligible for IPS after BCA complete.

    IPS stand for - Indian Police Service .

    This exam conduct by UPSC.

    IPS Eligibility like ::

    *** The candidates must be citizen of Indian

    *** The candidates must be complete graduation degree in any recognized university

    *** Your age limit between 21 to 30 years.

    *** Age relaxation was G0vt. rules

    *** You must be physically fit.

    Selection process like ::

    *** Written exam

    *** Medical test

    *** Interview.

    IPS stands for Indian Police service.IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.This exam is conduct through Civil Service Exam .

    If you have completed Graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.There is no marks criteria.Final year student are applicable for IPS Exam.

    You have completed BCA degree so you are applicable for IPS exam .

    Age criteria :-

    Minimum Age = 21 years old
    Maximum Age = 30 years old

    Age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.

    The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

    IPS exam is consist of 3 process - Preliminary Exam . Mains Exam and Personal Interview .

    For this years exam date is already over for Civil Service exam .You can wait for next notification ,
