    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year.

    Eligibility:

    Nationality:

    The candidate should have been citizenship of India.

    Educational Qualification:

    You should have complete the Bachelor degree from any recognized university.

    No percentage required for this exam.

    Final year appearing candidates are eligible.

    Age Limit:

    your age limit should be between 21 to 30 years.

    3 years age relaxation for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST. And 10 years for PH.

    Gender:

    Male and female candidates are eligible to become IAS officer.

    No of attempts:

    4 for General Category

    7 for OBC

    No limit for sc/st.

    As you are a B.Sc Graduate Of course you are undoubtedly eligible to apply for it


    Because to apply for IAS .. you must have a minimum of "" GRADUATION ""

    That is already you have

    You must have a minimum of 21 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates ...

    You must not have any Backlogs

    Obviously you can become IAS officer after pursuing Bachelor in Science.

    Indian Administrative Service:

    It is one of the most respectable post in the Society,
    Even people look upto them more than Chief Minister of the state or Member of legislative Assembly of that area.
    Government conducts every year Civil service exam to recruit best minds of India into IAS services.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

    -> Candidate must have completed or is in the final year of his or her Graduation course
    -> Candidate should be a citizen of India
    -> Lower bar for age eligibility is 21 years of age
    -> Upper bar for age eligibility is 30 years of age
    -> Upper bar for age is applicable if you are not more than 30 years on the 1st August of the respective year.
    -> Age relaxation condition for reserved candidates
    a) 3 years for OBC candidates

    IAS is the Indian Administration Services which was coined by the central government services and the selection for this IAS are done through the UPSC selections and the UPSC is the Union Public Service Commission in India which conducts different services for the different kinds of the government sectors recruitments....

    Dude after the completion of your bachelor degree in any stream you are eligible for appearing to the IAS selections and as you are of the B.Sc back ground you can appear for the UPSC IAS selections as this Bachelor of science is also one of the under graduation course of study...

    The IAS selections requires eligibility criteria which are to be followed for appearing to the UPSC IAS services selections.The minimum eligibility which are required for appearing to the civil services selections are....

    I said you are eligible on becoming a IAS officer based on the education qualification which is needed for joining in as a IAS Officer.

    The needed education qualification for writing the IAS exam is that the candidate must have completed a degree from a recognized university with a fair percentage.

    IAS Exams (popularly known as Civil Services Exams) are being conducted every year in India to fill prestigious posts like IAS (Indian Administrative Service), IPS (Indian Police Service), IFS (Indian Foreign Service), IRS (Indian Revenue Service) and many other union government services.
    The Civil Services Exams (IAS Exams) are conducted in three phases.

    Phase I: CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) in May or June

    Phase II: Mains (Civil Services Mains) in Oct/Nov

    Phase III: Personality test (interview) in Feb/Mar of the following year


    Educational Qualification:

    The Minimum age should be for civil service exam is 21 years and the maximum age criteria is 30 years old.. Age Relaxation for OBC candidate is 3 years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.


    The maximum no of attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

    Yes you can become a IAS officer after completing B.Sc. To write the exam you must apply from the exam before only when te notification is released and the application forms will be availabe in the UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in

    To apply for the exam your age must be in 21 - 30 years. Also age relaxations are providing for the reserved classes and given by
    OBC- 3 years
    SC, ST - 5 years
    Physically handicapped people - 10 years
    Ex-service men who worked in defence or other government and completed their assignments - 5 years etc

    Basically a candidate must complete degree to attend the IAS exam and IAS is a civil service exam conducted by UPSC board every year

    The candidates need to be the citizens of India or refugees or Indian origins migrated from bhutan, sri lanka, pakistan, burma or east african countries etc

    There is also restrictions regarding the number of times writing the exam and given according to the caste

    OC - 4 times
    OBC - 7 times
    Sc, ST - no restriction in this


    The candidates need to be fit mentally and pass the interview and written exam. After this training will be given
