I am very sorry to say that you cannot become an astronaut without doing your engineering.
You need to do aeronautical engineering.
Since this is a job that needs technical knowledge and a lot of science skills you need a graduation in engineering.
If you wish to become a pilot you need not do engineering as a flight course certificate suffices.
But astronaut is something which requires engineering.

Yes,, you can become an astronaut without doing engineering b'coz graduate in other disciples can opt for astronomy in post graduation.Astronomy basically involves physics and mathematics.
ELIGIBILITY

You can also opt for biological science, physics,mathematics degree at graduate level.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
At least 1,000 hours of experience in jet aircraft as pilot-in-command.

Distant visual acuity: 20/50 or better uncorrected correctable to 20/20, each eye.

Blood pressure: 140/90 measured in sitting position.

Height: between 64 and 76 inches.

the other course to become the astronaut than the engineering is the MSc course in the aeronautical science .

yes. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in engineering, biological science, physical science or mathematics is needed. Degree must be followed by at least three years of related progressively responsible, professional experience.
