The candidate should be born not past than 2nd January, 1993. The candidate who should not born later than 1st July, 1995. The age limit of the applicant is between 17 and 21. The Commission accepts the date of birth. It is that entered in the Matriculation or HSC Leaving Certificate. For Army and National Defence academy, the aspirants must pass 12th standard from a state education board. For applying air force and Naval wing, candidate must have taken 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics. The aspirant should be an Indian civilian. You must be physically healthy. You are not eligible to apply for the same. The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC and so the eligibility criteria are also set by the commission. The candidates born after Jan 2nd 1993 and not later than July 1st 1995 are eligible for taking the exam this year. As by your dates of Birth you born in September and you can’t take the exam. If you are interested in the defense service you can go for the graduate course under the recognized university. The UPSC conducts CDS exam for the graduate aspirants of defense service. With any degree you will be eligible to apply for the IMA. Science background will enables you to have career in Navy and Air force. There is also age limits. It generally ranges between 19 and 25. NDA i.e National defence Academy Examination is conducted by Upsc twice in a year.
Eligibility criteria :
The age should between 16 1/2 To 19 yrs.And Only Unmarried Male candidates born not Earlier than 2nd July,1993 and not later than 1st Jan,1996 are Eligible.
And You should passed in the higher secondary level.And Applying for Air force and Naval,the candidates should have Physics and Mathematics.

You are not eligible to apply for the NDA examination for this year. For the NDA examination candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.
Since your age is 16 years now so you are not eligible for the NDA examination for this year.

But you can apply for the NDA examination in the year 2012. This year you are perfect in age to apply for the NDA examination. Beside this the qualification required
for the NDA examination is that a candidate should be 10+2 pass in any discipline. For the Air force and navy candidate should have physics and maths at 10+2.
Those appeared in the 10+2 exam are also eligible for the NDA examination.

As you are not completed your 16.5 year..so you are not eligible .
Age criteria-
16.5 to 19 year.
However you can try for NDA II examination.

The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC every 2 times a year.

You are eligible for the NDA exam as you satisfy the eligibility criteria framed by NDA.

Eligibility:

The candidate must be a unmarried male candidate and should not be born before 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st January 1996.

The education qualification which they seek are:

For Army Wing of NDA:

The candidates must have finished 12th with (10th,+2) patten conducted by school education.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA:

The candidates must have finished 12th with (10th,+2) pattern conducted by school education including physics and mathematics.

The candidates must be physically fit while appearing for the exam as the physical standards is applied.

According to the age mentioned by you ,you are not elligible for the exam ,age limits ranges from 16 1/2 - 19 1/2.

You can't apply for NDA because it requires 19 years of age.

yes you are eligible to apply for nda this and even the next year too As nda is exam is conducted two in a year by upsc so you have a chance this year too . the only thing is that you should 1st division in 12th .

Sorry , according to eligibility criteria of NDA for this year the candidates born after 1st july,1995 are not allowed to appear in exam.

You are not eligible for this year but you can apply next year prepare till then for it. Your syllabus is based on 11th and 12th.
If you score good marks then you would be eligible for direct SSB.

No!! You are not eligible for NDA 2012 course .As the minimum eligibility to apply for this exam is that your age should be not less than 16.5 years and should not exceed 19.5 years.after waiting for half year, you can definitely apply for this as you are completely suiting to the minimum eligibility requirement then . Other areas in which you have to work hard are physical and mental fitness.

NDA is the acronym for National Defense academy this is the exam conducted for the students of 12th from science stream.

after getting selected the students will be given coaching according to the desired standards so that they can work for Indian defense services.

IMA is the training academy Indian Military academy this is the training institute for future officers in this academy only most of the students get recruitment letters with their performance in the SSB interviews.

To get trained in this academy there are many opportunities like you can come through UES(University Entry scheme)

you can also enter through TGC

as you are female candidate you can go through this into military academy by TGC or SSC
