    Can I attempt MPSC exams at the age of 27 yrs? I am a dentist by profession

    Sir/madam,

    I m a Dentist by profession n my age is 27yrs. I would like 2 know whether I can attempt MPSC exams?? If yes, then for which posts n when is the exam due??

    sorry, you can not attempt MPSC exams at the age of 27 .


    Requirements for MPSC EXAM:-

    Age Requirements:-

    (a) OBC: 35 years
    (b) SC/ST/NT: 38 years
    (c) Open Category: 33yrs / for PSI exams it is 28 yrs

    Educational Qualifications:-

    A candidate must be a graduate.

    Eligibility Criteria of MPSC PSI/STI/Assistant Exams:

    Age:

    Minimum age18 years.
    Maximum age 33 years.


    Upper Age relaxation:

    For OBC candidates: 35yr

    For SC/ST/NT candidates: 38yr

    Educational Qualifications: A candidate must be a graduate:

    Maharashtra Public Service Commission is the authoritative body for conducting Maharashtra State Civil Services examination in the state. Apart from the civil services examination, commission also conducts several other examinations and carries out selection process of candidates for service into varied departments of Maharashtra state government. The office of MPSC is situated in the capital Mumbai.

    This examination is held for the post of

    Deputy Collector Class I

    Deputy Registrar (Co-operatives)

    Assistant Secretary

    Deputy Superintendent of Police/Assistant Commissioner of Police

    Maharashtra Finance & Accounts Service-Class I & II

    Tehsildar

    Block Development Officer

    District Inspector (Land Records)

    Superintendent of Prohibition and Excise

    Asstt. Registrar (Cooperatives)

    District Transport Officer

    PHYSICAL:
    1.Height: 165 cms.
    2.Chest: 84 (Unexpanded) for Supt.
    The MPSC exam is conducted in two parts
    1.Preliminary exam-consists of two papers.
    2.MAIN EXAM-English is compulsory along with general studies.

    Dear friend MPSC stand for Maharashtra Public Service Commission.

    Maharashtra Public Service Commission is the authoritative body

    for conducting Maharashtra State Civil Services examination in the state.

    Eligibility criteria for MPSC exam:-

    Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

    Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

    Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates.

    Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years and SC/ST category candidates 5 years.


    Number of Attempts:-

    General category candidates - 4 time

    OBC category Candidates - 7 time

    SC/ST category candidates - No limit.

    So, friend if you fullfil the eligibility criteria then you are eligible to apply MPSC exam.
