    Can I attempt Civil Service Exam being a final year B.tech student?

    hai
    i'm a final year,b.tech student. can i eligible to attempt civils?

    Yes, you are eligible for UPSC Civil services examination, if you are Pursuing your Final year b.tech course from a recognised University. Civil services examination is conducted by UPSC, Every year for recruitment to various services like the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service and Indian Police Service, as well as Group A and Group B Central Services.

    To apply for this examination, you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognised university. If you are Pursuing final year degree course then you are also apply for this examination. To appear for this examination, you must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years, upper age limit will be relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, by 3 years for candidates of OBC.

    The Notification of this year Examination notification was already Published and the Online Registrations was already started and the last date of apply for this examination 05/March/2012. The examination will be held on 20/May/2012. If you are Interested then please fill the online application form soon before the last date, No other mode of application will be accepted. The examination fees is Rs 50 and those who cracked the Preliminary examination are also have to pay Rs 200 fees for Main examination.

    Preliminary examination is compulsory for all and if you have cracked this examination then you are further eligible for Main examination, there are 2 papers in Preliminary examination and both will be Objective Based, this examination is also called CSAT (Civil services aptitude test). Main examination is Descriptive and you have to choose the subjects in Main examination on the basis of your Graduation. The list of availiable subjects is availiable in the notification, So please read the notification carefully and then apply for this examination.

    You will get limited attempts to cracked this examination, So please prepare well and then apply for this examination, If you are belong to general category then you will get 4 chances and if you are belong to OBC Category then you will get 7 chances and no limits is applicable for SC/ST Candidates, So firstly prepared well for the examination and then apply for this examination Online. If you want to try then fill the application form soon before the last date.

    hi,
    yes you are eligible for civil service which has been conducted by upsc.

    age limit: from 21 to 30 years.

    no of attempts: general:4
    OBC: 7
    SC/ST:NO LIMIT

    this exam is so tough so you must be start the prepration in the final year.

    Because the Notification will be Published in the employment Newspaper or in the UPSC Website on 04/Feb/2012.

    The Last date of apply for this examination : 05/March/2012

    And Preliminary Examination Date : 20/May/2012.

    A set of sample questions for both Papers would be put on the UPSC website http://www.upsc.gov.in in due course for reference of the prospective candidates.

    Paper I - (200 marks) Duration: Two hours

    Current events of national and international importance
    History of India and Indian National Movement
    Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic geography of India and the World.
    Indian Polity and Governance Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
    Economic and Social Development Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
    General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization
    General Science.

    Paper II- (200 marks) Duration: Two hours

    Comprehension
    Interpersonal skills including communication skills;
    Logical reasoning and analytical ability
    Decision making and problem solving
    General mental ability
    Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc.) (Class X level)
    Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. -Class X level)

    yes, you can apply for the civil services exam which has been conducted by UPSC.



    eligibility for civil services exam:
    1.you must be graduate from any recognized univeristy.
    2.your age must be between the 21 to 30 years.
    3.you must be indian citizen.

    no of attempts:
    for general - 4
    for OBC - 7
    for SC/ST - no limit.

    selection in civil services:
    selection in the civil services based on the performance in the written test and interview.
    after successful qualify the written test you have to call for the interview.

    Union Public Service Commission (U.P.S.C) conducts the Civil Services Examination (C.S.E) every year .

    The exam is common for recruitment to various services like ::

    Eligibility Requirements ::

    Nationality::

    To apply for the exam you must be a citizen of India .

    Age ::

    For 2012 Exam you must be 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2012

    For OBC candidates 21 - 33 Years

    For SC/ST candidates 21 - 35 Years

    Qualification::

    Yes , B-TECH student are applicable for Civil Service Exam.


    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

    Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any discipline from a recognized university.


    AGE CRITERIA:


    For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 27 years

    For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 30 years
    For SC/ST category candidates age should be between 21 to 35 years.

    NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:


    4 attempts for General category candidates
    7 attempts for OBC category candidates
    Unlimited attempts for sc/st category candidates.

    Yes, you can apply for the exam.

    Civil service exam is conducted by UPSC .
    U.P.S.C. stands for Union Public Service Commission. It is the Government constitutional body which conducts various government exams for recruitment of candidates to various posts.
    These are the various exams of Civil service are IAS, IFS, IPS.

    Eligibility:-

    --A candidate must have completed his/her graduation from recognized university.

    --A final year candidate can also apply.

    --Candidates who have completed their graduation from technical courses/professional courses can also apply for this exam.

    --Age of the candidate should lie between 21-30 years.

    --Age relaxation for OBC is 3 years & SC/ST is 5 years.

    --For open category candidates , number of attempts -4 , for OBC- 7, for SC/ST- unlimited.

    yes you are eligible for civil services examination
    UPSC every year conducts civil services examination for recuitment of candidates into different government services.

    Eligibility for CSE:

    Candidates must be graduate in any stream or final year student of graduation .
    Graduation Degree should be of a recognized college in any stream .

    Age limit:
    Atleast 21 years and maximum 30 years.
    Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates.
    for obc 3 years
    for sc/st 5 years

    No. of attempts:

    -For open category candidates , 4 times
    for OBC- 7 times
    for SC/ST- unlimited.
    Examiantion Pattern:
