• Candidates which are from state are preferred only.
• Candidate should have proficiency in local language , English and social studies.
• Candidate should have license for vehicles.

For the post of RTO officer, you need either a B.Sc. degree with Physics and Mathematics or B.E. or B.Tech.

after having a diploma, you cant apply for RTO. you should posses atleast graduation degree to apply for RTO exxam.
First go for B.Tech.or B.Sc after that, you can apply for the exam.

Eligibility criteria for RTO exam :-
1.A candidate should be graduate in any discipline.
2.A candidate should have atleast 50% in graduation.
3.A candidate should be citizen of India.
4.Age limit:-
for General-21-30 years
For OBC- 21-33 years
For SC/ST -21-35 years.
So my friend you have just complted diploma and you are not full filing the eligibility criteria
of RTO .If you want to appear for RTO exam then you will have to do degree course and as you said that you have complted diploma then you can get admission in any college through lateral entry scheme.

RTO(Regional Transport Officer)exam is conducted by Public Service Commission of a respective state.Every state has its own RTO exam.
The eligibility for RTO exam is:

-You must have passed 10th.
-You must be from the same state for which you are appearing for exam.Like-If you are appearing for Punjab-RTO exam then you must belong to Punjab state.
-You must have License for all types of vehicles.

No,you are not eligible for RTO exam after completing your Diploma as the minimum educational qualification required is a Graduate degree and diploma is a Under-Graduate degree. The eligibility for RTO exams are:

For Judicial service post:

Citizenship:-

You must be an Indian.

Educational Qualification:-

You Should be graduate in law from any recognized university

Age Factor:-

Your Age should be in between 23 years to maximum 33 years.



For Clerkship post:

You Should be SSC (10+2) passed or equivalent from any recognized university

RTO exam is conducted by Public Service commission by each of state in India.

Eligibility:


Your age should in between 18-37 years of age.

If applying for Engineer post then minimum is 23 and maximum is 32 years.

There are various posts for which the RTO exam is conducted.Since you are not engineering graduate,you can not apply for the post Assistant engineer.

The minimum eligibility criteria to attending the RTO exam is a graduation in engineering.

So you have to pass your Graduation in any recognized university.

So after completion of your graduation you are eligible for RTO exam.

RTO examinations are generally conducted by public service commission of each state of India. Well as you have not mention which states you are from so its little difficult to tell you in the details .But i will still try to help you out by giving you the general idea about the exams .

The RTO examination is done for three post ::

1.Judicial service post
2.clerkship post
3.sub assistant engineer

The eligibility criteria for all the post is different .

Eligibility criteria ::

For Judicial Service post ::

You should be Indian citizen
You should be between 23 year to 34 years.
You should have degree in law from recognized university
You should be able to read, write and speak particular state’s language.

For Clerkship Post::

You should be a citizen of India.
You should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board .
You should be between 18 years to 37 year old.

For Sub Assistant Engineer::

You should be an Indian citizen.
The interested students should have got a 4 year degree in engineering in any one of the following streams ::

Civil
Mechanical
Electrical.

You should be not more then 32 years .
