    Can I apply for NET SET with M.Tech and CA qualifications?

    I am CA & iwant to pursue for NEt set Exam .i dont want to do M.Com , can i apply for Netset

    SET 2012 Eligibility:- you must passed 12th examination in any branch with minimum 50% for general category and for SC and ST student 45 per cent mark is required.

    SET 2012 Pattern/ Syllabus:-

    The examination duration is 2.30min. It conducts objective type question. Each question has the four option as per answer have the paper is conducted in two session for five question papers. Morning session set papers are for law, Engineering, Health Sciences and afternoon session for general and design for five question paper. There is no negative marking system for wrong answer.

    Sections:-

    Logical Reasoning
    Legal Reasoning
    Analytical Reasoning
    Reading Comprehension
    General Knowledge
    Total Marks:- 150

    Structure of SET- 2012 for Engineering

    Sections:-
    Physics
    Chemistry
    Mathematics
    Total Marks 200

    Structure of SET- 2012 for Health Sciences

    Sections:-
    Physics
    Chemistry
    Biology
    Total Marks:- 200

    Structure of SET- 2012 for General

    Sections:-
    General English
    Quantitative
    General Awareness
    Analytical & Logical Reasoning


    Total Marks:- 150

    Structure of SET- 2012 for Design

    Sections:-
    English
    Design Aptitude
    Total Marks:- 100

    eligibility criteria for NET

    M.Sc or equivalent degree , with minimum 55% marks for General and OBC candidates
    and 50% for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates and Ph.D.

    I am a CA. Am I eligible for giving UGC Net Exam to be held in June 2012 ? ?
    I mean to ask whether CA Degree can be considered as PG Degree for the purpose of UGC Net
