If you have born between 2nd January 1994 and 1st July 1996,you would have eligible for NDA exam.So from now you will not eligible for NDA exam.

So if you are interest in defense service,then you can join in defense service after completing graduation degree by appearing CDS exam.

CDS exam is also conducted by UPSC every year once to take qualified students into different defense service like Indian Air Force,Indian Navy and Indian Army.

To appear for CDS(Indian Air Force),you should have complete graduation degree in engineering from a recognized university and your age should be between 19 to 22 years.

To appear for CDS(Indian Navy),you should have complete graduation degree in engineering from a recognized university and your age should be between 19 to 21 years.

To appear for CDS(Indian Army),you should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 19 to 24 years.

And exam notification will release in the month of October and June month every year.
So try to appear for defense service exam after your graduation course.

THE AGE LIMIT FOR APPLYING FOR THE NDA EXAM IS 16.5 YEARS TO 19 YEARS ONLY..IF YOU ARE IN THE RANGE OF THIS AGE LIMIT THE YOU CAN APPLY,OTHERWISE NOT.

BUT YOU HAVE PHYSICS ,MATHEMATICS AND CHEMISTRY AS YOU COMPULSORY SUBJECT IN CLASS 12.

IF YOU WANT TO JOIN INDIAN DEFENCE FORCES THEN YOU CAN APPLY AFTER GRADUATION ALSO.THERE ARE VARIOUS ENTRIES AFTER GRADUATION LIKE CDS, TGC,SSC,ETC..

As your born in 1993 now your age will be around 18 years so your eligible for the exam .

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.

This is conducted by UPSC for those who are interested in gettign in to Defene services.

UPSC conducts this exam twice every year.

Only male un-married Students are eligible to apply for this exam.

You need complete your 12th from a reconized board to apply for this exam.

Your age need to be between 16.5 to 19 years.

There are three wings in NDA they are:- Army wing, Air force wing, naval wing.

With your 12th qualification(any stream) you can apply for Army wing.

But for Air force and Naval you need to complete 12th with physics and maths subjects included.

Applications are available online at the official website of UPSC.

Exam will be conducted in the month of April.

As your D.O.B is june 1993 and you your age is between 16-1/2 -19-1/2 so you are very much eligible for NDA exam.

NDA exam is conducted to recruit candidates for army,air-force,navy.After clearing from NDA you will go to IMA if you are a army cadet,AFA if you are a air-force candidate.

As NDA exam is held 2 times a year.You can appear for both times.

See the notification in newspaper about NDA.Notification releases in August and April.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA:

1.If you have cleared 10+2 can apply.

2.If you had taken Physics & Mathematics in Class 12th can apply for navy and air force otherwise if you have only maths then you are eligible for army only.

3.you must be bachelor .

4. Your age must be between16 -1/2 to 19-1/2 years at the time of joining the academy.

As per the date mentioned by you, you are eligible for the NDA exam(National defense academy) but you are also
required to satisfy the other qualifications for this purpose.NDA is basically an examination which is conducted
to select candidates who are suitable for servicing the nation and who also have the spirit and courage to join
defense services which is not easy to do.There are basically three conditions which should be satisfied by you which
can be mentioned as follows:
1)The candidate must have cleared his or her 10th standard from a recognized board which is the minimum
qualification required.
2)The candidate must satisfy the age limit criterion which is from 16.5 to 19.5 years of age.

To apply for the exam you need to be around 16.5 to 19 years of age. With your 10+2 Qualification in any discipline from a recognized board you can apply for the Army wing. To apply for the Naval and Air force wings you need to complete your 10+2 or its equivalent with Maths and Science as your discipline. Exams are Conducted in the month of April. Only Unmarried Male Candidates are allowed to appear for the exams. You need to be physically fit to appear for the exam as per the standards that are mentioned by NDA.



The Selection criteria is based on Written, Medical test and personal Interviews. the main exam is divided into General Ability and Mathematics and the Duration of the Exam 150 Minutes.
Paper I will carry 200 marks and Paper II will carry 600 Marks. Negative Marks will be given to all the Wrong answers so be careful in marking the answers.
