Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination:

• Have done 10+2 or Equivalent from State Board / Universities.

• Unmarried male candidates only

About a year before the commencement of a new Course Brief Notification is given in all leading daily newspapers and Detailed version is given in Employment News Paper .It Generally Occurs(NDA Exams) 2 times a year conducted By UPSC.

Selection Procedure follows through three steps

• A written examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.
  
  
• An interview by the SSB and
  
  
• A medical examination by a Service Medical Board in near by Military Hospital.

You might be able to apply if you satisfy tha age criteria for NDA EXAMINATION

But there is a way to join defence after diploma. If you are really interested to join defence.
Air force and navy each year opens a catagory called Group X technical. This the door for a diploma holder to fulfill his dream to join defence. You need to apply first when the notification comes out. There will be two round written. One physical fitness test. After that medical checkup. If you get green card on the last step wuth 4months you will get a letter from them and you are now ready to join defence services.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for N.D.A after 10th.
N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year
> Medically fit

Diploma courses are not eligible for any Defense service exam.So you are not eligible for NDA exam.If you are that much interest in Defense Service,then pursue graduation course in Engineering,after completing the course,then you can appear for CDS exam.This exam is also conducted by upsc every year twice.To take qualified students into different defense service like

The applications for NDA 2012 exam are to be submitted online using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in.
Last date for Receipt of Applications 30.01.20112 (Monday).
Therefore you should fill and submit the online form before 11.59 PM on Monday 30.01.2012.

buddy your eligible for writing NDA as it just requires you to be intermediate degree holder but as you have completed your b.tech its further help full

you need to look for the articles on the NDA which keep coming in the Deccan chronical news paper where the requirements for students with higher qualifications are required

Yes why not, you can apply for the NDA Exam. The form of NDA are filled in the month of May First week. You can submit the form with in a month. Exam of NDA is Conducted in August second week Sunday Every year. The Minimum requirements for the NDA Exam is as follow :-
1. You can apply for the NDA Exam only if your age is in between 16 to 19 years.
2. There is no age relaxation for general category, and for reserve category there is very little relaxation in age.
