    dear IAS (Indian administrative service ) is one of the most prestigious civil service examinations,
    you must have your electronics and communication engineering from any of the recognized university incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in india or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or it may be declared as deemed university under the act of ugc act 1956.
    age limit
    you must have 21 years of age and your age must not be above 30 years on august 1 of the year of examination.
    age relaxation
    • you have 5 years of age relaxation if you are belong to the SC/ST,
    • you have 3 years of age relaxation if you are belong to the other backward classes,
    • you have 5 years of age relaxation if you are domiciled in JAMMU Kashmir during the period between January,1,1980 and December 31,1989.
    the IAS exam will be consists of three stages
    • prelims,
    • mains,
    • and finally interview stage ,
    preliminary examination:
    in this exam there will be two papers :
    the IAS prelims consists of objective and consists of two compulsory papers to all of them .
    the negative marks for each question is 0.33 marks,
    • general studies carries 150 marks,
    • any one optional subject -300 marks,
    optional subjects for the preliminary examination,
    • agriculture,
    • animal husbandry and veterinary science
    • botany,
    • chemistry,
    • civil engineering,
    • commerce,
    • economics,
    • electrical engineering,
    • geography,

    • Indian history,

    yes you can apply for ias exam
    ias is a civil service exam conducted by UPSC board
    eligibility :
    you must complete degree in any stream from recognized university
    your age must be minimum 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years
    age relaxation of 3 years is given for obc's
    age relaxation of 5 years is given f or sc/st's
    the no. of chances for appearing for the exam is
    for oc's is 4 times
    for obc's is 7 times
    for sc/st's there is no restriction of appearing exam

    yes friend ,
    you can apply for IAS exam.
    the minimum qualification is to IAS exam is any degree, so you can apply.
    age limit is 21 to 30 years,and 3 to 5 years relaxation for obc and sc/st candidates.
    you should have the degree certificate from a recognized university. you should be a citizen of india.

    IAS exam is conducted by UPSC through Civil Service Exam.This exam conduct every year for recruiting IAS and IPS candidate .

    Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.You must have citizenship of India .

    You have completed B-Tech degree in ECE so you are applicable for IAS Exam.

    Age Limit:

    your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old

    Relaxation on Upper Age:

    For OBC category : up to 33 years
    For SC/ST category : up to 35 years
    For PH : up to 40 years

    No. Attempt:

    The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

    The exam have three stages:

    Prelim Exam
    Main Exam
    Personal Interview

    THE DETAILS OF THE IAS EXAM IS AS FOLLOWS-


    Citizenship-
    >You must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee.


    Age Limit-
    >you must be between 21 to 30 Years.


    Age relaxation-

    5 years for SC/ST candidates
    3 years for OBC candidates
    5 years for defence service personals
    10 years for physically handicapped candidates


    Educational Qualification-
    >You must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized institutes.

    Dear ,

    IAS exam is conducted by UPSC through Civil Service Exam .So you must attend in Civil service Exam to become a IAS officer .

    If you have completed graduate degree from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.

    If you have completed B-Tech degree from ECE background then you are applicable for CSAT Exam.Because B-Tech degree is a graduation degree.

    But your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

    The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.
