In CDS exam,you can only apply for OTA (Officers Training Academy)
The eligibility for OTA is as follows:
-Degree from a recognized university.
-Age limit: 19-25yrs.

Application forms are available at the post offices by cash payment of Rs 20/-.

CDS (I) 2012 Examination Notification was already Announced and Updated in the UPSC Official website and the Online Registration process was already started.

Those who have completed his Final year graduate degree course or Pursuing Final year year degree course form a recognised University may apply for this examination, There is No minimum percentage is required in graduation to apply for this examination, any graduate passed candidates may apply for IBPS Examination.

And If you are Pursuing your Final year Graduate degree course, then you are eligible to apply for CDS Examination.

So, Please apply for the Officer Training Academy (OTA) Because you are only apply for This Academy in CDS Examination, Girls are Only eligible for OTA And to apply for this Academy you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline form a recognised University. To apply for this examination your age should between 19 to 25 Years. No upper age relaxation is applicable for any candidates.

The Online registration process was already starts form 29/Oct/2011 and the last date of apply for CDS Examination : 28/Nov/2011.

You can only fill the Online application form because no other mode of Application form should be accepted, If you are Interested then please pay the fees in SBI Bank OR Pay the fees online by using SBI Net Banking.

The examination will be held on 12/Feb/2012.

You must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Combined Defence Services Examination.

For For Admission to Officers’ Training Academy, There are 2 papers and you have to cracked both these papers : English and General Knowledge. Both these papers are of same marks and Duration.

For Women candidates, the minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.

Yes of course,you are eligible to apply for this examination.

C.D.S examination was conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

This examination was conducted twice in a year by UPSC.

To apply for this examination,the candidate need to cleared the graduate degree from a recognized university.

The Following course are available in C.D.S examination :- I.M.A,Indian Naval Academy,Air force and O.T.A.

You are not eligible to appear for I.M.A,Indian Naval Academy and Air force.

Officer Training Academy ( SSC Women Non-Technical Course ) :-

The candidate have to passed graduate degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification and candidates who are appearing in the final year of bachelor's degree can also eligible to apply for this examination.Candidates age should between 19 years to 25 years.Unmarried female candidates are eligible to apply for this examination.There is no specific stream candidates.Any stream candidates can apply for this examination.The stream like B.Sc,B.C.A,B.B.A,B.Com,B.A,B.B.M,B.A.............. ...................etc.

Yes you can apply for CDS exam for this year.CDS stands for Combined Defense Service exam,this exam is held twice in year and exam is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility for CDS examination:

(COMMON DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION)

Yes you can Apply for the CDS(COMMON DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION) which is conducted by UPSC(UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION) and this exam is conducted every year.

The Girls are also eligible to appear for the exams But they cannot join IMA.Girls have to join OTA(Officers training academy) after clearing the exams of CDS.

They can also Join AFA for the AIR FORCE and NAVAL ACADEMY for the INDIAN NAVY.

The exam is conducted in the months of April and October.

To Apply for the exam you have to first fill the Application form and this form can be filled Online on the website www.upsconline.nic.in.

You can also fill the Application form Offline by Buying it from the Designated Post Offices of the Country.

All those candidates who have cleared the Graduation or who are in the final year of graduation are eligible to apply for the Exams of CDS.

The Age criteria for the CDS is:
