    Can I apply for CA? Is it possible to do CA along with my regular B.Com (H)?

    hello
    AM SECOND YEAR STUDENT DOING B.COM(H),I WANT TO DO CA AT THE SAME TYM...CAN I APPLY FOR CA???AND AM A REGULAR CLG STUDENT

    CA stands for Chartered Accountants.

    Chartered Accountant is a person who specializes in accounting, taxation and auditing.

    Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conducts this course at three levels:
    ~~ Entry Level Test : Common Proficiency Test
    ~~ Professional Competence Course
    ~~ Final Course

    Graduate student candidates directly join the IPCC course without writing CA-CPT Exam. Commerce Graduate have to scored minimum 55% marks in graduation and Non-Commerce Graduate have to scored minimum 60% Marks.

    If you have scored minimum 55% Marks in your B.com then you are eligible directly for Professional Competency Course. This examination are held twice a year in the months of June and December.

    The Notification Published in February and August on Institute’s website every year. Registration for CPT course shall be valid for 3 years. To cracked this examination you have to scored minimum 50% Marks in CPT. The examination is objective type test with a negative marking. So please do not worry, you can apply for CA-CPT after completing your b.com. For more details check official websi

    Yes friend,it is possible.The Central Council has approved the new announcement of allowing a Graduate student (B.com, B.Sc., BBA,etc) to directly join the IPCC course(ca entrancce) without writing CA-CPT Exam. The council announced that the eligibility criteria for the graduates to write IPCC directly is as under:

    1. In case of a Commerce Graduate – 55%

    2. In case of a Non-Commerce Graduate – 60%
