    hello
sorry to say that you can not do CA after MA.
Because CA stands for charted accountant.
for CA you have to give CPT entrance exam after passed this exam you can do CA.
ICAI conduct this exam twice in a year.
ICAI provide a facility that you can do CA after graduation but in graduation you have passed B.com from recognized university.
But After b.com you want to do CA then you have not register yourself for CA.
if once you have register yourself then cpt is compulsory to clear this.
    good luck

Re: Can I apply for CA after MA?

yes, you can apply for CA after MA.

It is the course which will train in management accounting ,taxation and in auditing

But you have to apply for I level of Chartered Accountancy that is CPT as there are 3 level in Chartered Accountancy course.

And it will take around 4 yrs to complete the course.

You have no mention with which subjects you have completed your MA.

MA is post graduate qualification and you must be eligible for many one or two years good courses and job opportunities after doing this course.

than why you want to go for Chartered Accountancy course which will build strong career for you only after you complete the course and which will take at least 4/4.5 years

that's so if you clear the paper at first attempt as chartered accountancy is consider as little tough course which need regular and serious preparation.

Re: Can I apply for CA after MA?

    Helo dear,

As CA course includes 3 stages, candidates should write CPT after 12h class. Those who clear this level can attend IPCC. But on the other hand, graduates are given exemption from CPT or as you said after MA You can apply for IPCC directly being a graduate. On clearing this exam, 3 years article ship training is followed. Those who pass this level can attend final CA course.

Re: Can I apply for CA after MA?

You can apply for CA after M.A. Being a post graduate; you can apply for IPCC level in CA course. In such cases, you get exemption from attending CPT exam. You have to perform well so as to get qualified in IPCC. If you qualify IPCC the next option is article ship training. The duration of this training is 3 years. If you clear both IPCC along with article ship training, you can appear for final CA course. Completing orientation programme and ITT also a must.

yes u can apply for it. it is a professional course. it does not require any degree qualification. this u can't study in any college. u can study in any CA institution.
the duration of completing the course is up to u. the r various levels in it . u can clear the levels on by one . if u clear all the levels in the first attempt means, u can complete it in 2.5 years.
it took 5 years for my friends to clear all the levels. so if u r good in accounts & maths, u can complete the whole very soon.

Re: Can I apply for CA after MA?

    hello,

yes you can apply for CA

ICAI requires student to pass 12th in any recognised board or any 10+2 exam from recognized board.

as per ICAI's current notification graduates in B.com with minimum 55% can directly appear for intermediate exam as such they can skip the Entrance exam CPT.

graduates in any stream from recognized university with minimum 60% can also avail the exemption as given by ICAI.

you can get yourself registered with ICAI depending on the criteria you fulfill.

if you have secured 60 or more % in BA you can directly appear for IPCC. registration can be done at ICAI's branches at your nearest.

if you have not secured 60%, you can get yourself registered for CPT at nearest branch or you can also register yourself online on the official website of ICAI www.icai.org
