Re: Can I apply for BHEL,GAIL and NTPC with GATE Score or not?

Some of the Public sector companies such as NTPC, BHEL etc take in the candidates only after attending the GATE exam. So you can apply based on your score. It may not be true in case of all the other government companies. It may be clearly specified in the notifications which are published. If it is mentioned that the candidates will be selected based on the GATE score, you need to attend the GATE exam. In all the other cases, the candidates may be generally selected based on the written test conducted by the firm. If the candidates clear in the written test, they need to attend the personal interview.

    Dear ,
You can apply with the GATE score card in companies like BHEL,NTPC,INDIAN OIL and mony other public sector jobs. These companies do consisder the GATE score card and if you have a good rank you can directly apply for the interview. You need not have to give the written exam .
So if you got a good rank you have a very bright chance in these companies.
