AIEEE is an entrance examination which is conducted for selecting the most eligible candidates in to the engineering courses. You can attend the AIEEE if you have completed your 12th class and then opted for the diploma. But, if you have completed your diploma in engineering it is better to opt for the lateral entry scheme. You should attend the Lateral entry admission test (LEAT) after diploma. If you qualify in this test, you can directly get in to the second year of the engineering course. You should score an aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma level.

You can attend the AIEEE if you have completed your 12th class and also after the diploma.you will get the admission in 1st yr. if you want to do B.Tech from AIEEE after the diploma, But if you want to do engineering from other universities then you can get admission in 2nd yr as lateral entry scheme. You should attend the Lateral entry admission test (LEAT) after diploma. If you qualify in this test, you can directly get in to the second year of the engineering course. The basic eligibility criteria to give AIEEE exam is that you need to be a 12 pass out and should have 50% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together.

This India level engineering entrance examination.

Diploma is 3 year courses and the it is not the contain the general 12th std and it separate branch in engineering.

That's why you are not eligible for AIEEE.

AIEEE is not permit diploma student for give the entrance exam.
In AIEEE only 12th passed student can give the entrance exam.
Eligibility
you should have passed or appearing in 12th class.
your percentage will be above 50%.
you have taken maths subject in 12th class with science.
you can give aieee exam continues 3 years like you have done 12th class in 2010 then that will your first attempt 2011 was second and 2012 is last and third attempt.

The polytechnic degree is meant equivalent to the 12th board level examination.So you are eligible to apply for AIEEE examination.

While filling the form it is necessary to mention your diploma marks and check the box for Diploma.
Also some colleges offer direct entry on the basis of your polytechnic degree.in the second year of B.E/B.Tech course.
So, you can also apply through the lateral entry test in the colleges.

You will have to pass 10+2 with at least 50% marks or above.

Then only you will be eligible for AIEEE exam.

However, you can give LEET Exam but after qualifying it, you can take admission in 2nd year of Engineering Colleges (except NITs and IITs).

So, for applying AIEEE. You will have to pass 10+2 anyhow.

If the student had completed diploma and he/she want to give the AIEEE entrance exam then he/she is not eligible for it.Because 12th is compulsory for AIEEE entrance exam.


AIEEE stands for All India Engineering Entrance Exam which is given by the students to get an admission into an engineering field after 12th.


But as you have completed your diploma after 12th then you are not eligible.But if you have completed your diploma after 12th with non-medical then you become an eligible for AIEEE.




Because the main requirement is completion of 12th with non-medical stream.So my friend,don't go for AIEEE after diploma.


If you will go for AIEEE after diploma then it is just the wastage of your one year of life.So don't waste your time by going to AIEEE.


Because if you go for AIEEE then you can take an admission into first year but If you want to take an admission on the basis of diploma then you will get an admission directly into second year of the graduation(degree).


The choice is yours.
