The candidate can find job opportunities in both private industry as well as public sector after their master’s degree in geography. The candidates can find job vacancies in Agricultural Research, Academic sector, etc. Gas exploration companies and firms operating on GIS are other areas where the candidates can find placement. Mining industry and petroleum sector are other areas where these professionals can find job opportunities. The candidate can seek job vacancies in departments coming under rural development, and in solid waste management. Travel and tourism industry is also in need of candidates who have completed M.Sc geography. Cartographer, Demographer, Agriculturist Specialist, etc are some job profiles offered to them.
