Yes you can appear for the NET exam with the above mentioned qualifications. This exam is conducted by UGC. The main criterion for NET exam is a post graduation in any discipline. You should have scored an aggregate of 55% of marks in the Post graduation level. The post graduation should be taken from a recognized institute. The final year PG can also apply for NET exam. But they will be admitted provisionally. Such candidates will be awarded lectureship positions only after completing the PG degree with the specified percentage of marks. There is no upper age limit for lecturer positions. If you qualify and obtain a good score in this exam, you can apply to any of the government colleges or universities.

If you have completed your MBA Finance Post graduate degree course, then you are eligible for NET Examination. NET stands for National Eligibility Test and this examination is Conducted by UGC, Twice in a year and the examination will be held on June and December. The notification of this year NET Examination will be Published soon in Next month. Eligible candidates may fill the application form Online, But before fill the Online application form, you have to submit the fees of Rs 450 through challan form in SBI Bank.

To appeared for NET Examination you have to scored minimum 55% Marks in your Post graduate degree course, Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for NET Examination.

You have to apply for either Lectureship Post OR Junior Research Fellowship Post. To apply for Lectureship post, your must have attained the age of 19 years, but there is no Upper age restrictions to apply for Lectureship Post, But your age should not be more than 28 years, if you are Interested to apply for Junior Research Fellowship Post.

You have to choose the subjects in NET on the basis of your Post graduation Only, If your Subjects in not mentioned in the list, then you can choose related subjects.

But you have completed your MBA in Finance, then you have to choose Commerce subject in NET. If you have choose Marketing in your MBA as a Minor subjects, then you can choose Management Subjects in your NET Examination.

But, I will suggest you please choose the Commerce subjects in NET, Because you have from Finance Background and its very easy for to cracked the NET Examination because you have some good Knowledge about Finance subjects. You can also choose Management, but its better if you can confirmed from the officials, they guide you properly.

Make sure that from this year, NET Examination pattern will changes and there is no Descriptive papers from this year Onward's. Yes, You are applicable for NET exam for Management stream.Because you have completed MBA degree.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in year by UGC.

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.If your degree law is from Masters degree then you are applicable for NET Exam otherwise not.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.There is no restriction for attempts NET exam.

management. NET is basically an exam conducted to select candidates who are suitable for pursuing lectureship as their profession.
Basically there are two conditions which are required to be satisfied in order to appear for NET exam-
1)Firstly the candidate should have completed his Masters or post graduation from any discipline from a recognized
university or institution.
2)Secondly the candidate must have obtained the minimum percentage(55%) in post graduation that is required
to appear for the exam.
