Re: Can I appear in NET exam after completing B.Tech in Chemical Engineering?

B.Tech qualification is not sufficient for you to appear for UGC NET exam. You need to take PG after B.Tech so as to apply for the same. Any subjects can be chosen to do PG course as per your interest. Also it is essential to score 55% marks in PG as well. Generally this exam is attended so as to get in to positions like Professor/Assistant Professor etc in government colleges. Refer UGC sites where in notifications for this exam keep on coming. So, first all complete your PG and then opt for NET exam.
