AGE LIMIT, as i told u is one must have attained the age of 16 and a half and must not have attained the age of 19 years as on 1st january or 1st july of the year succeeding the year of examination.

these are the eligibility criteria for appearing for nda written exam...even if you are not elligible for this examination,you 'can' persue defence services...there are a lot others too and some are much better even like cds, pabt,and lots more.

Dear I can guess if you are talking about NDA II, which has been scheduled to held on 21st August 2011.

If so then sorry you are not eligible.

Age Limit for NDA II 2011: Candidate must not born earlier then 2nd July 1993 and not later then 1st January 1996

But your date of birth is 23rd MArch 1993. So you are not eligible.

Here I would like to clear your doubt regarding age limit. Surely candidate between age group of 16 1/2 - 19 years are eligible to appear for NDA. But problem is with understand this criteria.

UPSC has rule that candidate must be at least 16 1/2 year of age and must not attend the age of 19 years befor the commencement of training, which are generally held on 1st of every june.

So, no doubt that you are 18 years old but the NDA II for which you are wanted to apply for will beging its course from 1st June 2012. The date till when you would cross the age limit of 19 years. At that time your age will be 19 years 3 months and 8 days.

Your age is apt to apply for the exam. The age of an aspirant who is applying for the exam is between 17 and 19. UPSC is conducting NDA test for selecting out the apt applicants. The qualification required is a +2 pass. The applicants need to finish the +2 from a recognized board. Only male candidate applications will be accepted. There is physical test for getting admission. NDA i.e National Defence Academy Examination is Conducted Upsc twice in a Year.

Sorry To say this You are Not Eligible for NDA Exam.Because the candidates Born Not Earlier than 2nd July,1993 and not later than 1st January 1996 are Eligible.

Even though the age limit is 19 years for NDA exam, you have overshot the age limit by a few months. So therefore you are not eligible. However, you can appear for CDSE exam after graduation.
