The minimum qualification required to appear for MPSC exam is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. The upper age limit is 33 years for the open category and it is 38 years for the reservation category. The MPSC exam includes two parts – Preliminary exam and Main exam. The preliminary exam consists of general studies and subjects like chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, political science, zoology, Indian history, botany, etc. The main exam includes both compulsory subjects like Marathi, English, general studies etc along with optional subjects. You can obtain the application form and the prospectus from the concerned post offices. The cost of the application form is Rs. 100/-. The exam fee for the general category is Rs. 400/- and that for the reservation category is Rs. 200/-.

Age Limit:

The Age limit of the applicant must be in between 19-28 years & Relaxable age upto 33 years for BC candidates .

Physical Requirements are :

Height: 165 cms.
Chest: 84 cms. (Unexpanded) for Supt. Prohibition & Excise or DSP/ACP.
