Re: Can I appear in IPS exam after completing +2?

No you are not eligible to appear for CES(Civil services examinations) just after completing your higher secondary.
The reason being the minimum qualification required to appear for this examination is to have graduation degree from any discipline from a recognised university.

The procedure to become an IAS(Indian administrative services) officer, IRS(Indian revenue services) officer, IPS(Indian police services) officer
, etc can be explained as follows:
1)Preliminary examinations-This is the initial stage.
2)Mains examination-This is the second stage in the process.
3)Personal interview-This is the third and the most crucial stage in the procedure.

No you will not be eligible for IPS with the 12th score. Completing graduation is a must. Also your age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years. The normal duration for graduation is minimum of 3 years. Before you join for the graduation course make sure the institute is recognised.

Re: Can I appear in IPS exam after completing +2?

    For IPS
    Minimum education criteria = Graduate

They don't consider 12th marks so don't worry about 12th marks.

But you need to do graduation form recognized university and there is no graduation course of 1 or 2 years.....Minimum years required for graduation is either 3 or 4 years.

    So first complete your graduation.

Age limit for civil service exam is:

    General category:
candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.

    SC/ST:
up to a maximum of 5 years.

    OBC:
up to a maximum of 3 years.

Re: Can I appear in IPS exam after completing +2?

IPS is Indian Police Service, this exam is conducted by UPSC.

It is a good opinion of you choosing to becoming a IPS officer, but as far regarding your education qualification you have done +2,you cannot apply for the IPS exam having with that qualification.

For applying for this exam you sould have done a degree from a recognzied university.

You can do your graduation in any discipline, the only thing which matters is a degree.

It is better that you continue your studies with the stream whch you studied in your +2.

Before applying for the IPS exam you must be a citizen of India and must have a age limit of 21-30 years.

If you satisfy the above criteria's then you can apply for the IPS exam.

    Hey friend

Being a +2 student you cannot apply for the IPS Exam as the exam can be written by candidates who have finished their graduation

IPS stands for Indian Police Service

This is one of the Civil Service exam and is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

This exam is being conducted every year in favor of candidates to join in for the post of IPS Officer.

There are certain eligibility conditions framed by the commission for the candidates to satisfy in order to apply for the IPS exam.

As regarding that, the education qualification needed for the IPS Exam states that the candidate appearing for the exam must have completed a degree in any discipline form a recognized university.

When regarding your qualification, you have only completed +2 which makes you ineligible to apply for the IPS exam at this stage

So,it is better that you continue your studies and then apply for the IPS Exam.
