    Hello Friend,



    To write Civil Exam you should be a graduate from any recognized university.

    In your 12 standard you should have the subjects as maths,physics,and chemistry.

    If you want to become IAS Officer you have to write the UPSC Civil services examination.

    The examination was conducted by UPSC Comission every year and the Notification of the examination was Published in the Month of February every year.

    The examination was held in Two stages CSAT and Mains.

    There are Two papers in this examination and Both are Objective.

    After writing CSAT exam the candidate is eligible for main exam.

    Age Limits :

    >Candidate must have the age between 21 years and 30 years on the 1st August of the year in which examination is being held.

    >There is a relaxation Upto a maximum of 5 years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe and Ex service man.

    >There is a relaxation Up to 3 years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes .

    Number of Attempts:

    There will be only 4 attempts for the general category.

    There is no limit for SC/ST candidates .

    If you satisfy the above eligibility criteria you can get in to Civil services.

    Yes, you can definitely .. To write IAS you just need a degree and you got B.Ed as well. So, you are very much eligible for the IAS exams..


    IAS carries 3 rounds namely :
    Prelims, Mains and Interview

    IAS in done by UPSC every year and it usually held its exams in ;
    “Preliminary Examination” is usually held in May / June and the “Main Examination” in October / November of the same year.

    Eligibility :


    You require at least a degree As you already have it.
    You should be between 21-30 years.

    The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:
    upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST.
    upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes(BC's)

    Attempts :
    If you belong to the “Open Category” you can give the exam 4 times maximum!
    If you belong to the “OBC” you can give the exam 7 times.
    If you belong to the “SC/ST” you can give the exam as many times as you want. There is no restriction on the number of times!

    How to apply ?
    The “Application Form” and “Information Brochure” can be obtained from the “Head Post Offices or Post Offices” throughout the country.

    Exam pattern of IAS :

    Preliminary Examination would consist of two papers- Paper I and Paper II.
    Syllabus for CSAT as proposed by UPSC
    (Paper 1) (200 marks) - Duration : Two hrs
    (Paper II) (200 marks) – Duration : Two hrs
    The final interview is of 300 marks.


    Every aspirant is asked for his preferences in civil services. Mostly choose IAS but a few also choose Indian Foreign Service.
    The entire selection process lasts 15-20 months.

    There are some selection procedure such as:

    Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recruit the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)

    According to the Eligibility Criteria:

    Flying branch as pilot will be selected through Short Service Commission for men & women

    Age:

    i) 19 to 23 years
    ii) 19 to 25 years for CPL Holders which is issued by DGCA ,India.

    Upper age limit is relaxed up to 25 years.

    Marital Status:

    You have to be Single.

    Nationality:

    You have to be Indian

    Gender:

    Men and women can apply for the examination.

    Educational Qualifications


    1:You have to be Graduate of 3 years course in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

    or

    You should have a degree of BE / B Tech of 4 years course from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

    2. Final year students can also apply,having no backlog and minimum 60 % aggregate marks in the previous year's semesters.

    Generally,the notice is published in the month of March and September every year.

    IAS exam is conducted in 2 stages.

    • Preliminary exam
    • Main exam.

    After cracking the preliminary exam you are eligible for main exam.

    Education qualification:

    You have the bachelor's degree in any recognized university with at least one of the following subjects namely Animal husbandry & veterinary science,Botany,Zoology,Chemistry,Geology,Mathemati cs,physics,statistics,geology or a bachelor's degree in agriculture,forestry or engineering or an equivalent qualification.

    Age limit:

    Yes,you can appear for IAS exam.Indian Administration Service exam is held once in year, this exam is part of Civil service exam and exam is conducted by UPSC.

    Eligibility criteria for IAS exam:
    You should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.
    Age should be between 21 to 30 years for General category candidates,21to 33 year for OBC category candidates,21 to 35 years for SC/ST category candidates

    Number of attempts:
    4 attempts for General category candidates.

    The applicant should physically as well as medically fit then only your eligible for examination .

    The important Notification for IAS Examination may published in employment news papers and other leading news papers . You may buy the examination form from the post office nay branch in our country .

    So , After completing Bachelor degree your definitely eligible to apply for IAS Examination .

    Yes definetly you can appear in IAS examination.
    For this you have to appear in civil service examination.
    This examination is conducted by upsc every year.
    The porpuse of examination is to select brilliant students for IAS post.
    You should be physiscally fit and should ne devoted towards your duty.

    Yes,you are eligible for IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam this exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) this exam conducted only once in a year.
