    Hello Friend,

    Iam giving below details for 2012 IAS exam.

    There is no cut off marks in graduation to apply for IPS exam .

    IPS exam is carried out by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) and constitutes two stages:


    *Preliminary Examination

    *It comprises of multiple choice questions and is also a qualifying exam for appearing into second exam.

    *The Main Examination.

    *It comprises a written exam and an interview.


    Eligibility:

    Education:
    *A bachelors degree in any field and from any university .

    Age Limit:

    *It is between 21 to 30 for general candidate .

    *And there is age relaxation for reserved category .

    *Number of attempts:

    General -4
    OBc-7
    Sc/St-no limit.


    Some important points from my side:


    *For selection in this exam you need to command in G.K .

    *It will be better that you start your preparation from the start of the graduation degree.

    *Also you can join some good coaching institute for guidance .

    Definitely you can appear for Indian Administration Service exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC every year once.The Eligibility criteria for Indian Administration service exam are

    >>You should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university.
    >>If you belong General Category,then your age should be between 21 to 30 years
    >>If you belong to OBC category,then your age should be between 21 to 33 years
    >>If you belong to SC/ST/PD category,then your age should be between 21 to 35 years.

    You can attempt 4 times,if you belong to General category
    You can attempt 7 times,if you belong to OBC category
    You can attempt 14 times,if you belong to SC/ST/PD category.

    There will be three levels of exams:
    >>Preliminary Exam
    >>Main Exam
    >>Interview

    If you able to clear Preliminary exam,then only you can appear for Main exam and followed by Interview.

    As you complete graduation and if your age is also between mentioned criteria,then you can appear for this year.

    Important dates for IAS exam:

    There are some selection procedure such as:

    Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recruit the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)

    According to the Eligibility Criteria:

    Flying branch as pilot will be selected through Short Service Commission for men & women

    Age:

    i) 19 to 23 years
    ii) 19 to 25 years for CPL Holders which is issued by DGCA ,India.

    Upper age limit is relaxed up to 25 years.

    Marital Status:

    You have to be Single.

    Nationality:

    You have to be Indian

    Gender:

    Men and women can apply for the examination.

    Educational Qualifications


    1:You have to be Graduate of 3 years course in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

    or

    You should have a degree of BE / B Tech of 4 years course from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

    2. Final year students can also apply,having no backlog and minimum 60 % aggregate marks in the previous year's semesters.

    Generally,the notice is published in the month of March and September every year.

    yes, you can appear for IAS after degree. For this you don't require any min.percent to maintain ! IAS exam is conducted by upsc every year and it contains Prelims(CSAT), Main exams and interview.

    IAS exam is done through out the year that means
    The “Preliminary Examination” is usually held in May / June and the “Main Examination” in October / November of the same year.

    Attempts :

    • If you belong to the “Open Category” you can give the exam 4 times maximum!
    • If you belong to the “OBC” you can give the exam 7 times.
    • If you belong to the “SC/ST” you can give the exam as many times as you want. There is no restriction on the number of times!


    Eligibility :

    You must be a citizen of India.
    Age limits:
    - You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.
    The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:
    upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST.
    upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes(BC's)
    You must complete your Graduation Degree(No restriction in Min.Percent)

    How to apply ?

    The “Application Form” and “Information Brochure” can be obtained from the “Head Post Offices or Post Offices” throughout the country.

    Information About Civil Services Examination :

    IAS Stands Indian Administrative Service, and to become IAS Officer, you have to Cracked the UPSC Civil services examination, This examination is Conducted by UPSC Every year in two Phases : Preliminary examination and Main examination.

    yes.....defiantly,after completion of your graduation you are eligible for IAS examination.

    IAS(Indian Administrative Service) will hold the UPSC examination every year.

    The examination is conducted into 2 phases namely

    After clearing the preliminary examination you can call for Main examination.Then you can call for Interview.Then you will become a IAS officer..


    Eligibility:

    You must be citizen from India
    Your should not more than 30 years and not less than 21 years.The realaxable age will applicable to ST/SC/OBC candidates.

    FRIEND,

    IAS stands for INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES And this exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

    The Selection is conducted in three stages:

    1)CSAT
    2)MAINS
    3)PERSONAL INTERVIEW.

    For The IAS exam there is no criteria of minimum marks required in the Graduation to be eligible to appear in the CIVIL SERVICES EXAM conducted by UPSC.

    Your age must be between 21 to 30 years and 3 and 5 years of relaxation is given to OBC and SC/ST category candidates respectively.

    You must be an INDIAN CITIZEN.

    You are allowed only 4 attempts if you are from general category and No limit and 7 attempts for the SC/ST and OBC category candidates respectively.

    Hi,

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service and the exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) Board to recruit candidates in various Government Organizations across India. The Notifications about the exams are published in the employment newspapers or it is updated in the website of UPSC.

    Educational Qualifications for IAS-UPSC:

    To appear for the exam you need to Complete your Graduation from a recognized university with any discipline.
    You should be a citizen of India.
    Your Age Limit for the exam is 21 years to 30 years
    Upper Age relaxations applicable for SC/ST(5 years) and OBC(3 years).
    Even Final Year students of Graduation are Eligible to appear for the exam.

    Exam pattern:

    The exam is divided into two phases:
    • Preliminary exam
    • Main exam

    The Preliminary exam Consists of 2 papers and if you get through the Preliminary exam you can appear for the Main exam.

    As of 2012 the Important dates are:

    Date of Notifications: 4th February 2012

    Last date to apply for the exam: 5th March 2012

    Exam date: 20th May 2012

    Yes you can become IAS officer .

    But you need to complete your Graduation to appear for IAS exam.

    This is include in the services which come under civil services.

    Civil service exams are conducted by UPSC.

    This exam is conducted every year to recruite IAS,IPS,IFS officers.

    The exam is conducted in 2 stages:-

    1)Preliminary and

    2)Mains.

    To appear for this exam`s you need to be a graduate from reconized university.

    General candidates have 4 attempts.

    OBC candidates have 7 attempts.

    SC/ST candidates hae no limit.

    Notifications will be released in the month of Feburary.

    Last date of applying is 5th of march 2012.

    Iam giving below details for 2012 IAS exam.

    There is no cut off marks in graduation to apply for IPS exam .

    IPS exam is carried out by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) and constitutes two stages:


    Preliminary Examination

    It comprises of multiple choice questions and is also a qualifying exam for appearing into second exam.

    The Main Examination.

    It comprises a written exam and an interview.


    Eligibility:

    Education:
    A bachelors degree in any field and from any university .

    Age Limit:

    It is between 21 to 30 for general candidate .

    And there is age relaxation for reserved category .

    Number of attempts:

    General -4
    OBc-7
    Sc/St-no limit.


    Some important points from my side:


    For selection in this exam you need to command in G.K .

    It will be better that you start your preparation from the start of the graduation degree.

    Also you can join some good coaching institute for guidance .

    Actually the minimum qualification that is required in order to appear for IAS(Indian administrative services) exam or in other words
    Civil services exam is that the candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.So, if you have completed your
    graduation or a degree which is equivalent to graduation, you can definitely appear for the respective examination.
    The civil services exam can be appeared in three stages as follows:
    1)Preliminary exams-
    This is an objective examination which is common for all the students who have filled examination forms for
    preliminary exams.

    2)Mains exams-This is a subjective examination and you would be required to select subjects according to your preference
    for the purpose of this exam.

    3) Personal interview-
    This is the toughest stage.Even deserving students are sometimes eliminated at this stage.You can appear for any
    of the Indian languages provided the interviewer is able to understand your language.

    Yes of course a graduate student can apply for civil service (I.A.S.) exam.

    Eligibility:-

    -To apply for this exam, you must be a graduate from a recognized university.
    -Final year students can also apply.
    -Candidates who have completed their technical courses are also eligible for this exam.

    -Age limit to appear in this exam is 21-30 years.
    -age relaxation is there for SC/ST, OBC candidates.
    -For SC/ST- 5 years of relaxation is there.
    -For Other back ward class (OBC)- 3 years of relaxation.

    -You must be an Indian citizen to apply in this exam.

    How to apply:-

    -You can apply either online or offline.
    -For applying online , visit http://upsconline.nic.in.

    -For offline , The application form costs 30 /-. It is available in designated post Head post office.
    -After filling the form send to the given address.

    Pattern of exam:-

    1) preliminary exam
    2)main exam
    3)interview
