No, it is not possible for girls to apply. To get in to the post of an Army officer the candidate should pass the NDA exam. There are certain eligibility requirements for one to apply for the exam. Only unmarried males are eligible to apply for the examination. If you are really interested to serve Indian Army, you can apply for non-technical jobs. In order to apply for such jobs the candidate should possess graduation as the minimum qualification. Moreover, the candidate should attend and pass SSC exam to get in to such posts.

what the hell is this???? why there is no option for girls to get into NDA.... i beg you people please please please do something for girls too, i am dying for NDA, n nw i think if i would be a guy,i would have applied for it...... kuch toh karo yaar.. who so ever conduts these NDA exams, this is for them, see we girls are strong enough to do anything just like boys.but atleast you give us the chance??? please for god sake do something for girls after 12ht so that they can get into IMA??????? NDA Stands for National Defense Academy

NDA is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) every year twice.
NDA I and
NDA II

There are 3wings in NDA:
1.Indian Army
2.Indian Airforce
3.Indian Navy

To apply for Army Wings, you have to complete your 12th in any discipline form a recognised Board.

To apply for Naval and Air Force Wings, you have to complete your 12th with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects.

Eligibility:

>>Your age must be between 16.5 to 19years.

>>You should be Unmarried male.

>>You must be PHYSICALLY FIT.

>>You have to complete your Inter from any recognized University of India

i am sorry to inform you that girls cant join NDA because it is only for boys

but you can join defense sector through CDS exam

so dont be get panic madam do hard work get good marks in your graduation then you are eligible for the CDS examination

after qualifying it you can go for medical test then you can join efense

No,you are not eligible for the NDA Exam being a girl as it is not possible for you to apply for the exam


Reason:

There are criteria's which are to be satisfied and as regarding that for the NDA Exam,you need to satisfy the martial status for the exam.

Martial Status Needed:

> The candidate who want to apply for the NDA Exam must be a unmarried male candidate

As being a girl you are not eligible for the NDA Exam,so there is nothing for you to regard on other criteria's as you are ineligible for the exam.

Sorry to say that Girls candidate are not applicable for NDA Exam .Because only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.Commerce and student are applicable for only Indian Army branch.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

But if you really interested in defence sector , then you can definitely get admission through CDS , UES , AFCAT exam.But you must have graduation degree.Final year student are also applicable for those courses.
