    Re: mca qualification

A diploma course is not equivalent to the graduation course. It is normally equivalent to the 12th standard. This is provided it was pursued from a recognised institute. Normally the course should be for 3 year duration. So you cannot go for an MCA directly. You can go in for graduation course first. Make sure you select a course where Mathematics is there in the first year. Other than this there is one more condition which is a must. In 12th standard too Mathematics should be amongst the subjects studied. Also you must score above 50%. When you are in the final year of graduation you must appear for the entrance exams.

Better opt for BCA in under graduation. Then proceed to apply for MCA in renowned institutions.

Dear freind diploma holders are not allowed to pursue any masters degree without any specialized graduation degree. If you want to pursue mca then first of all you have to complete graduation in bca,bca is 3 years course where you will get to learn about computers deeply and make sure that you have done +2 with physics, chemistry and maths with min.55 percent marks, then only you will be eligible for bca. After completing bca you can go for mca.

So, you are diploma Candidates, then you are not apply for MBA Course, So please complete your Graduation First and then you will get admission in These courses. For MCA you have also complete your graduation with Maths as a subject in your 12th examination and you have to apply for AIMCET (JAM) or NIMCET Examination, Only then you will get admission in Top MCA Colleges of India, For more details please check the official website of Top Colleges.

    Dear,
Diploma course doesn't allow you freedom to do MBA as Diploma is not equivalent to graduation degree.
I advice you to go for graduation first and then take MBA examination.

Eligibility for MBA is given below
    >> graduation degree in any stream from any recognized university.
    >> Min. 50% marks in graduation.
    >> No age limit.

    Good Luck

your not eligible for MBA course after diploma course , because Diploma course not considered as degree . so you need complete any one of the bachelor degree like ,

    • BBA Bachelor of Business Administration
    • B.com Bachelor of Commerce
    • Bsc Bachelor of Science

If your qualified in any one bachelor degree then your eligible to apply for the entrance examination .

MBA stands for Master of Business Administration ,

    >>> For this MBA course , you should qualified for bachelor degree with 60% percentage of marks from recognized university .

    >>> Relaxation is given for sc/st candidate for 55% percentage of marks .

    >>> you should also qualified in entrance examination like ,

    • MAT Management Aptitude Test
    • CAT Common Admission Test
    • XAT Xavier Aptitude Test

you should qualified in this entrance examination with good percentage of marks ,

So i suggest you to apply for bachelor degree course if your interested to apply for MBA course .

First i inform you that Diploma course is not equivalent to the graduation course. To appear in the MBA entrance examination like CAT, MAT, XAT....etc you need the graduation degree in any discipline from a recognize University.

So i advise you to first do the graduation course and then you will be eligible for the MBA course. I think that after completing diploma course the B.Tech course is batter for you. You can take admission in the direct 2nd year of B.tech course through lateral entry examination. So, first do the graduation course and then think about MBA.

Re: Can a diploma holder do MBA directly? Procedure to apply for it?

first of all your question is good one there are
    some conditions do MBA:

you can't do mba after diploma .
there are some difference in diploma and graduation degree

    MBA eligibility :

    - you must finish your under graduate degree
    - you must finish recognized university 55 %
    - and sc / st 45% is applied

there are some of the exams given below:

To appear in the MBA entrance examination like
    - CAT,
    - MAT,
    - XAT
    - TANCET....etc

so , suggest you to finish an under graduate degree then
    only do an MBA.

Thumbs up Re: Can a diploma holder do MBA directly? Procedure to apply for it?

    No friend,

It is impossible to do MBA on the basis of Diploma course.MBA is a Post Graduate course and it is the rule of our Indian Education system that, you are eligible to do a Post Graduate degree course, only if you had completed your Graduate course, since Diploma is an Under-Graduate course,so you cannot directly go for MBA,you must have to do a Graduation degree first, only then you will be eligible to do MBA.

    Eligibility for MBA:
    • You must have completed your Graduation degree from a recognized College/University.
    • You must have completed your Graduation degree with minimum 50 % marks.

According to the eligibility criteria written above, you are eligible for MBA only after completing your Graduation degree in any discipline.

Graduation courses available for you on the basis of Diploma:

    • Bachelor of Engineering(B.Tech).
    • Bachelor of Technology(B.E.).
    • Bachelor of Business Administration(BBA).
    • Bachelor of Computer Applications(BCA).
    • Bachelor of Arts.

These are the different Graduation courses which you can do on the basis of your Diploma. But,according to me you must join B.Tech/B.E. after Diploma because,it is the most suitable option for Diploma holders. For getting admission in any Engineering course, you must have to clear an Entrance Test known as LEET(Lateral Engineering Entrance Test). It is a type of Entrance test for Diploma holders who want to get admission in Engineering on the basis of Diploma. But,for appearing in the LEET,you must have to fulfill the eligibility conditions for that.

The eligibility conditions for LEET are:

You should have passed your Diploma course from a recognized Institute or any State Board of Technical Education.
You should have cleared your Diploma course with minimum 60% marks.
You should not have any backlogs left in Diploma course.
Your age should not be more than 28 years at the time of test.

On the basis of your rank in the LEET test, you will be assigned College, the higher rank you will score in the Test, the better College you will get. Moreover,on the basis of LEET,you will directly get admission in 2nd year of Engineering. So,the course duration for you will be 3 years instead of 4 years.

Most reputed Engineering Colleges offering LEET admission are:

    Punjab University,Chandigarh.

    Delhi Engineering College,Delhi.

    IP University,Delhi.

    Punjabi University,Patiala.

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology,Patiala.

    KIITS University,Orissa.

    Government College of Engineering,Pune.

    Punjab Technical University,Jalandhar.

Sant Longoval Institute of Engineering and Technology,Sangrur.

    Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College,Ludhiana.

So after completing your B.tech/B.E. you will be eligible to take admission in MBA.

    All the best.

    Hey friend,

No,it is not possible for you to join in MBA after just doing your diploma as it is considered as a +2 level.

And as regarding the qualification needed for joining in MBA you need to at least have completed a 3 year graduate course from a recognized university.

There is no specified age limits for this course and so it does not affect you but as regarding the education qualification you need to have done a 3 year graduate course with at least 50% aggregate and for candidates of SC/ST will need 45%

So,you are ineligible for joining in MBA and it is better f your do any UG coure and then apply for MBA

Yes off course you can pursue MBA(Masters of business administration) directly after completing your diploma
provided that your diploma is equivalent to a graduation degree and it has been done from a recognized institute or
organization. The procedure is that firstly you have to appear for the various management entrance exams that are conducted
in the country for example CAT(Common aptitude test),MAT(Management aptitude test),etc. After that you would be eligible to take admission in
a college depending on the marks scored by you in the entrance exam.

Re: Can a diploma holder do MBA directly? Procedure to apply for it?

No a diploma holder cannot do MBA. MBA has its prior requirements as to be a graduate in a degree course, that too with minimum 50% in your aggregate. Even most distance and correspondence universities don't allow this. If you still want to go for it Symbiosis Pune can be your place. They are not having any criteria as such. They hold many certificate and 6 month and other diploma courses on MBA. You can log in www.scdl.net to get enrolled.
But I would suggest you to do a degree course for your graduation now. There is still time. Pick up a stream that you want to do graduation in. MBA doesn't have restriction for graduation discipline. Complete your degree course in it. After 3 years if you have a minimum of 50% in you total, you can sit for any CET for MBA like,CAT/ MAT etc.

    Dear friend,
You are not eligible for MBA after diploma course. As for doing MBA the eligibility is-
You must be graduate in any stream from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks.

As diploma is not equivalent to graduation. So first you have to complete your graduation then you can do MBA.
