Can a BBM do a course in MSc CS or MSc IT ?

Can I do MSc CS or MSc IT after BBM. I would like to work as a software engineer with DOTNET. Or should I do a Java course with NIIT.

Basically before selecting a course you need to make sure that you have chosen because you intend to make it your career. For doing a course which is computer software related you need to make sure that you pursue the right course. It is important that if you are pursuing a MSc course in computer application or information technology that you possess a bachelors degree in the same. But since you have not have the same you will not be able to pursue the MSc. course. However if you still feel you would like to become a programmer there are many candidates who pursue a course with institutes like NIIT. But for that you will need to work really hard. Make sure you have your basics sound. Also initially the pay scale that you receive will not be the same as those coming from MSc or Btech background. You will need to prove yourself.

BBM is basically a business management degree. It does not have any computer related subjects which makes a student proficient in different computer languages. As to join in M.Sc CS or M.Sc IT, a student should have studied a degree which has at least 8 papers in CS and 2 papers of maths. This type of degree courses are B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. Applied Physical Science or B.Sc. (General) Mathematical Sciences. This is very essential, as students must have the basic knowledge to study different computer languages. In the bachelors degree the students must also have 60% of marks. With a BBM degree you can go for MBA or PGDM in different reputed colleges. Students with BBM and MBA can directly enter in the managerial level positions in any company.

IN ORDER TO DO MSC IN IT OR MSC IN CS U SHOULD HAVE DONE GRADUATION IN BSC IN IT/CS.SINCE U HAVE DONE BBM THERE IS NO SCOPE OF PURSUING MSC AS A POST GRADUATION.BECAUSE THE JOUNEY OF CHOOSING SUBJECTS BEGIN FROM CLASS 10 ONWARDS.AFTER 10 U HAVE TO CHOOSE A STREAM WITHIN SC/COM/ARTS.THEN ACCORDINGLY U HAVE TO PURSUE A SUBJECT IN BACHELORS DEGREE WHICH U HAD IN 12 FOR EG IF U DID UR SC IN 12 THEN ONLY U CAN DO BSC THEN AS PER PG U HAVE TO CHOOSE SUM RELAted to ug.BUT UR STREAM IS DIFFERENT AS COMPARED TO BBM.SO IT WILL BE BETTER FOR U TO PURSUE ADDITIONAL COURSES IN IT FROM INSTITUTES LIKE IIIM,AP-TECH,NIIT ETC AND THEN U CAN GET A CHANCE TO WORK AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER SO QUERY IN ITHE INSTITUTES WHICH COURSES BEST SUITS U AND THEN U HAVE ALSO TO WORK VERY VERY HARD.TRY TO TAKE IT AS A CHALLENGE.U CAN DEFINITELY COMPETE WITH UR INTEREST AND REACH UR DESTINATION

It will be a ig challenge for you if you go for MSC cs or MSC I after BBM , because you are basically from the field of businass and not from the field of computer , so it is not that easy for you to do MSC IT ,somtimes you will be a big failure ,when you choose a course you should clearlly known about the course which you take and yo shold make sure that you can success in it .Since yo are from the field of business i think you can go forward in the same field ,don't create unnecessary chalanges to your life...
And you you still wanted to go for the MSC IT then you can go but most probably you will not get admission in good institution becaise you are not from the field of IT....

No, you can't do M.Sc in CS/IT after BBM. These two master degree course are science subject but you are from business background, so it is also difficult for you. But you can do short term course on DOT.NET, JAVA, CAD, WEB DESIGNING etc.
