    Can a B.Tech IT student write Civils(UPSC)?If yes provide me the procedure clearly?

    i am student of information technology can i preaper for IAS examination if yes please give me details about it.

    Yes you can definitely write these examinations.
    The eligibility to appear for Civil services examination is a graduation degree in any discipline.
    Candidates having Technical and professional qualifications like BE , BTech are also eligible.
    The age limit to appear in these exams is 21 to 30 years.

    Yes of course........!

    You are eligible to appear for Indian Civil Services Examinations.

    Educational Qualification: Candidate must have attended the first university degree, means candidates must be graduate from any Government/UGC/AICTE/Etc. recognized University/Institute. There is no such requirement that candidate must be an Engineer, or Doctor or MA etc. Anyone from any stream are eligible to appear for CSAT (Preliminary).

    Age Requirement:
    For General Candidates: Between 21 - 30 years.
    For OBC Candidates: Between 21 - 33 years
    For SC/ST Candidates: Between 21- 35 years
    For PH Candidates: Between: 21 - 40 years (deaf, Dump, etc.)

    Don't worry you are eligible for it. In fact the 2nd IAS Topper from Female candidate was a CSE Graduate.

    Yes B.tech with IT stream students are elligible for Civil services exam.
    You should Pass Graduation exam , then you must be in age limit from 21 to 30 years.
    You have three steps to qualifying UPSC civil services exam :
    Prelims
    Mains
    Interview
    the complete procedure takes almost one year.

    Yeah sure you can write the civil exams.As you have asked you about UPSC civil exams.The exams are IAS,IPS,IFS.

    Eligibility:

    The candidate must be a citizen of India.
    The candidate must have age limit of 21-30 years.
    The candidates must have got a degree from a recognized university.
    The candidates who are appearing for the last degree exam are also eligible.


    IAS Prelims 2011 :-

    Date of Notification:-19 Feb 2011

    Last date for receipt of applications:- 21 Mar 2011

    Date of Commencement and its duration:- 12 Jun 2011, 1 Day(Sunday)


    The syllabus and pattern of the Preliminary Examination :

    (Paper 1) (200 marks) - Duration : Two hrs.

    • Current events of national and international importance
    • History of India and Indian national movement
    • Indian and World Geography- physical, social, economic geography of India and the world
    • Indian Polity and governance – constitution, political system, panchayati raj, public policy, Rights issues, etc.
    • Economic and social development – sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographics, social sector initiatives etc.
    • General issues on environmental ecology, bio-diversity and climate change-that donot require subject specialization
    • General science.

    (Paper II) (200 marks) – Duration : Two hrs

    • Comprehension
    • Interpersonal skills including communication skills
    • Logical reasoning and analytical ability
    • Decision making and problem solving
    • General mental ability
    • Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc. (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. –Class X level)
    • English language comprehension skills (Class X level)
    • Questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X level (last item in the Syllabus of Paper-II) will be tested through passages from English language only without providing Hindi translation thereof in the question paper.

    Yes you are eligible for the exam.The minimum eligibility for IAS is a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.Also your age should be 21-30yrs.
    You can get the application form from the post offices by cash payment of Rs 20/-.For notification you can visit the UPSC website.

    You are Eligible for Civil Service Examination.There is different Exam Like Indian Administrative Service(IAS),Indian Police Service(IPS),Indian Forest Services(IFS)........

    Eligibility Criteria :
    • The candidate should have a Graduate degree from a Recognized University.
    • The Age should between 21 - 30 Yrs as on 1st of August of the year of Examination.
    • Age Relaxations Exists as Per Govt.Rules.
    • Even Final year of a degree course may also Eligible to apply.

    The Entrance Examination consist of three Levels : 1)Preliminary 2) Main 3)Interview.

    Preliminary Examination consist of two papers.Both Papers are Objective Type.The Papers consist of 400 marks.

    Main Examination consist of nine papers :

    Paper I : One of the Indian languages
    Paper II : English
    Paper III : Essay
    Paper IV & V : General Studies
    Paper VI,VII,VIII & IX : Any two Subjects to be selected from the Prescribed Optional Subjects.

    yes you can write this exam.
    qualification
    1.any graduatr from recognize university
    2.minimum age 21
    three rest.
    1.prelim
    2.mains
    3.interview
    prelim is for appear to mains and mains + intervies decide your ranking.

    Yes you can..
    But after completion of your BTech course.
    You can give IAS,IPS and other civil service exam after Btech.

    Yes, you can write IAS examination. A graduation is the basic eligibility for appearing in IAS examination. UPSC conducts the Civil Service Examination. The minimum age required for a person to appear in IAS exam is 21. The maximum age allowed to appear for the same is 30. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates. The IAS exam comprises of both written test and interview. Written test includes preliminary and final exam. Those who are successfully cleared the preliminary test can appear for the final test. As a competitive examination, thorough preparation is needed for this exam.

    obviously you are eligible ,

    her comes the eligibility criteria for UPSC exam
    • the candidate should be an Indian
    • the candidates age should be between 21 and 30 (OBC 3years and SC/ST 5 years relaxation)
    • the candidates should have done any of the degree in recognized university

    the exam contains three parts as follows
    • Preliminary objective
    • Main written
    • Final Interview

    for current years exam you can apply , for next year you can apply , wait for the notification in any national employment news paper

    Yes off course you can apply for UPSC., actually for giving IAS examination, you have to fulfill the criteria set by UPSC organization that is the candidate should be a resident of India, minimum eligibility is having bachelors degree with minimum 55%age and age limit is 21-30 years if you fulfill these demands then you can I.A.S examination so as to become a I.A.S officer . And one thing more be physically and mentally strong as you have to serve the nation.There is a great career with a huge reputation in this direction.

    yes definately you are eligible to write the IAS exam.Its the toughest exam in india, so prepare well for the exam.many good coaching centers in hyderabad are famous for teaching IAS exam,you need to start prepare
    in the are of your interest.you also need to develop good comminucation skills, good knowledge about external affairs,also read as many books for the exams.also suggest yopu to try the kpsc,upsc,IES exams , which also yield AND IFS.

    ya sure B.Tech IT student are apply for UPSC Civils because graduation degree is required for this exam.
    and if you are not less than 21 and not more than 30, then for sure you are eligible. application form
    availiable in post offices and UPSC also provide to fill online application form. Notification was released
    in mid of february month, just go through the UPSC website for detailed.

    Any student who have graduation degree is eligible to appear in the UPSC civil Service exams.
    and age must be between 21 to 30.

    Yes ofcourse you can.
    for applying for UPSC the eligibility criteria is Graduation and age limit(21-30) once u have complete your bachelors degree you can apply for UPSC exams.

    Check with the official website and choose the majors you would like to choose in UPSC exams.
    concentrate on those subjects and prepare well.

    Dear friend, yes, you are eligible to write the UPSC exam for IAS IPS and IFS. But you are not eligible to write the exam for IES- Indian Engineering Services. Even B.Tech CSE students are not eligible for IES.

    you must be a citizen of India, your age should be between 21-30 years. you should hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university for UPSC.
