    IBPS is an Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts exams for recruiting members for different posts like:
    PO
    Clerical cadre
    Management Trainee

    For PO post you need to complete your Graduation from any stream from recognised University.

    The Eligibility criteria for Clerical posts is:
    60% of marks in SSC
    50% of marks in +2 examination
    the age should be above 18 and should not exceed 28 years on 1st august of the year of examination
    Age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years
    OBC is 3 years
    widow is 9 years




    Application fee for SC/ST/PWD is 50 Rs and for other category it is 250 Rs

    Online applications for IBPS bank clerk exam 2011-2012, which is planned to be conducted on for 27.11.2011.

    IBPS Clerk exam eligibility:
    Aspirants with 60% marks from a government-approved matriculation system are eligible for appearing IBPS clerical cadre exam. Another option provided is 50% in a higher secondary exam or a degree.

    - IBPS stands for "Institute of Banking Personnel Selection".It is conducting Common Written Exam for the post of Bank clerks.

    - There are total 19 public sector banks participating in IBPS Common written Test for bank clerk. - - -- CWE for clerical post will be conducted two times in a year by IBPS.

    The IBPS has published notifications regarding the clerical posts. There are 19 public sector banks taking part in this exam. You need to attend the written examination and based on the score secured in the written examination you will be selected. You should be between the age group of 18-28 years. You should also have completed the 10th class with at least 60% of marks. You can also apply if you have completed the 12th class or graduation in any discipline. It is a must to have at least 50% of marks in the 12th class level if the qualifying exam in the same. There are relaxations in case of the qualifications and the age criteria for the reserved categories.

    The exam consist of only 5 sections which are
    Aptitude
    Reasoning
    Computers
    English
    General Awareness
    Negative marking is there .
    Total questions: 250
    Total marks : 250
    Time : 150 minutes
    1.Reasoning - 50 marks (50 questions)
    2.English language - 50 marks (50 questions)
    3.Numerical Ability- 50 marks (50 questions)
    4. General Awareness- 50 marks (50 questions)
    5. Computer Knowledge - 50 marks (50 questions)
    Negative mark: For wrong answer 1/4 of mark will be reduce from final score.

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection is an Organization which conducts all the Banking Examinations related to Clerical Posts and also PO Posts .

    For appearing any of the Examinations conducted by IBPS you need to satisfy the following criteria .

    Your Education qualifications are like - must pass / studying final year degree / engineering , which must be recognized by government of India .

    Your age must be in between 20-30 years for general candidates , for SC/ST Candidates 5 years relaxation , for BC category students relaxation set as 3 years , for the PH candidates 10 years and ex-service-men 5years .

    And also you should me citizen of India.

    Institute of banking personnel selection commonly know as IBPS conducts exam for the recruitment to the 18 banks of India every year .Only SBI and its associates banks do no take part in this examination .

    This examination is done for the both the post clerical as well as for the PO post .The examination procedure is that there is a common written exam followed by the Interview .

    The notification for the clerical date is out and for the PO date is over .Which means that you can apply for the clerical post only now .

    Eligibility ::

    If you are interested in taking the exam then you should have a completed their class 12th with 60% marks

    OR

    If you have got degree in any streams even then you can apply for the clerical exams.

    You should be between 18-28 years .Relaxation in upper age limit is given to the reserved caste students .

    For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe the upper age limit is increased to 5 years
    For Other Backward Classes the upper age limit is increased to 3 years
    For Persons With Disability the upper age limit is increased to 10 years

    Well sorry to say but you can not appear for the clerical exam of the this year since the last date to fill the application form is already over.So iam sorry to say but you have to wait till next year to appear for the exam .

    IBPS conducts bank exam for clerical cadre,he will ask very simple and basic problems,but for po’s the level of question will be very difficult compare with po’s exam.So this is a golden opportunity to get the job in any of 19banks.The syllabus not surprised for clerical exam,have the look on syllabus.

    A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conduct by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for selection of personnel for Clerical posts in the Public Sector Banks.
    There are total 19 public sector banks participating in IBPS Common written test. CWE for clerical post and PO post will be conducted two times in a year by IBPS self.
    IBPS working as a consultant which provides the personnel to other 19 bank .

    Written examination consists of five tests which includes 1) Reasoning test 2) English language test 3) Numerical ability test 4) General awareness and computer knowledge
    these GA depends upon current economy and current affairs of bank.

    [COLOR="rgb(255, 192, 203)"]NUMBER OF QUESTION ----[/COLOR]

    250 questions per paper which should be completed with in 2 hours 30 minute. Each test contains 50 questions and 50 marks for each questions.

    0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer SO you mark only solid question which you know well.

    Hi,

    The bank exams are conducted by IBPS(Institute of Banking personnel Selection) to recruit candidates under 19 public sector banks in India. The posts are Clerk, PO and specialist officers. The exam is named as Common Written exam(CWE).

    As you want to know the details about the clerical posts let me furnish you with the same:

    To apply for the clerk posts you need to complete your 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board.
    Your age limit must be 18 years to 28 years.
    Age relaxations applicable for SC/ST and Minorities.
    You must be a citizen of India.

    Exam pattern:

    The exam is Divided into two parts:

    Objective 200 Marks
    Descriptive 25 Marks



    You can apply for the exam online or offline which ever is comfortable for you. But i recommend you to apply online. The exam fee is 350/- for general category and 50/- for SC/ST and minorities.

    The Eligibility criteria for Clerical posts is:
    60% of marks in SSC
    50% of marks in +2 examination
    the age should be above 18 and should not exceed 28 years on 1st august of the year of examination
    Age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years
    OBC is 3 years
    widow is 9 years



    Application fee for SC/ST/PWD is 50 Rs and for other category it is 250 Rs
    You can apply it in two ways:

    Off line

    You can get the forms in the offline by :
