Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is the seventh largest telecom company in the world. It conducts The Technical Assistant Exam in order to admit the eligible candidates for the post of Technical Assistant. Structure and Pattern of BSNL Telecom Technical Assistant exam

The structure and pattern of the examination is include the following - The question paper includes mainly three sections. The first part is a General ability test. In that, simple exercises on Comprehension and understanding of General English would be given. The second part consists of Basic Engineering questions. The candidate should have detailed awareness on Basic Electricity, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Electronic Devices and Circuits & Digital Techniques. The last part comprises question related to the Specialization, the candidate has taken. The examination will be for 200 marks. The first section carries 20 marks and the other 2 section carries 90 marks each.


Qualification Criteria for BSNL Telecom Technical Assistant exam

The qualification criteria for the test is as per given below. The aspirants should be three-year diploma holders specialized in any of the streams like Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Instruments Technology, Radio Engineering and Computer Engineering.

Otherwise, the candidate should have completed the M.Sc (electronics) programme.
The aspirants should pass the qualifying examination from any recognized University. The age limit for the candidates for writing the test is 27 years. There will be age relaxation for the backward classes / tribes.

Application Procedure of BSNL Telecom Technical Assistant exam

The application forms for the test will be issued in all BSNL offices. The forms can also be downloaded from the BSNL official website. The candidates, after duly filling the application forms should send it to the respective BSNL examination zones. A Bank DD of the required amount should be drawn in favor of A.O. (B & A), BSNL C.G.M.T as examination fees. The SC/ST/PH candidates donot have to pay the fees. More details regarding the application procedure will be given in the BSNL official website.
