Hello Sir/Mam,

You can choose any of the branch but preference is given to mechanical then electronics. BE / B. Tech or equivalent in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters for which results are available). Candidates who are slated to complete the BE/B.Tech course in the academic year 2010-11 are also eligible to apply provided final Degree is available by August 31, 2011.

I suggest u not to focus on only job at isro
ISRO is a research organisation u need to very scientific and have basics clear on particular topic
so focus in that branch in which ur really interested or capable to explore new things.
so that this may proove useful for u to work efficiently with such reputed organisation & to serve it at your best

In my opinion Mechanical Engineering is best to get job in ISRO.
Because today Mechanical Engineering has a lot of good value everewhere and everyplacess.

It is no matter which course you take,The criterion is---
1.graduate degree, preferably in Science or Engineering.
2.A candidate to have a score of at least 65 percent in their graduation
3.The maximum age limit for ISRO is 35 years.
So,what ever stream you take just try to score 65% or more marks to sit for ISRO.All the best.

Hello friend, both electronics and mechanical are good streams . Isro stands for international space research organisation. For joining to isro,electronics is good. Because electronics candidates are required for isro. Best of luck

Both the streams are good. And have huge demand in ISRO.
BUT THE MACHANICES STREAM students are more preferred in comparison to electronic.
ISRO: Indian space and research organization.
The job are offered for skilled mechanical engineers .
Mechanical engineers required to design ,manufacture,install,operate and maintain a wide area of machines and mechanical systems that are used in countless industries.
Dear if you wish to go for ISRO than preferred mechanics because after Engineering in Mechanic you get more chance to get easily entry.

Well both mechanical and electronics engineering have good scope in ISRO(Indian Space Research Organisation).But you have to get cleared in all papers while doing engineering with minimum of above 65% (first class). Secondly you should be smart enough to get job in ISRO ie both technical and communication skill is required
