    its better to start with
    arihant series,h.c verma for physics
    das gupta,arihant series for maths
    o.p tandon,arihant series for chemistry
for further reference u can use
    resnickh halliyday for physics

    moriison byod for chemistry.
ther will not be different books for 1st year and 2nd year as for iit.in parallel to these books you need look after previous years question papers

    hii dear friend...

This is very good sign of you that you are looking very seriously for competitive exams from starting of your 11th and this is very important and common problem for all students of 11th and 12th also , which book they should refer to in order to score good marks in competitive exams and secure good rank.
so if you are taking science then there are following books you should refer to :--
    For mathematics:--

    >> There are books of K.C.sinha for each topic seperately like CO-Ordinate Geometry,Trigonometry,Algebra etc which are best books for the purpose of doing prepration for IIT-JEE.
You can also prefer books of Arihant publications topic wise which are also supposed best .

    >> For Physics:--

    1).Concept of Physics part-I and
    2).Concepts of physics part-II

written by H.C.VERMA are the best books of physics

you need to check the patterns of questions of IIT-JEE from its question bank then start you preparation

    For Chemistry:--

    >>For inorganic chemistry the NCERT books of 11th and 12th is sufficient for IIT-JEE
    >>for organic chemistry you should refer arihant publications books
    >>for physical chemistry you should also prefer Arihant publication books and the question bank of it.

since these are the most prefered books for IIT-JEE preparation till date
soo best of luck.....give your best shot.....
